Used to live close-by the park when a student in dublin 30+ years ago. Enjoyed jogging throughout the park. Wished I had stayed to complete my studies instead of going to USA on Summer break and staying there.
Hi I've visited Phoenix Park in Dublin it's a wonderful Park and I saw the deers stunning I have never seen this animals!! Thank you for the video I enjoyed so much!!
Hope you have a nice time Suz. I’ve lots of other Naked Ireland videos shot in Dublin which you may want to binge watch in advance if you trip. Many thanks for watching.
Wow Greg what a place 😁That is somewhere I would like to visit. I particularly liked the bollards separating the cycle lane form the traffic, something like that might (in a month of Sundays lol) get me back on a bike 😄. Lots to do and see there for sure, I have never heard of it before. How much to hire the torture machine, I mean bike? 😄
Hi Rob, I can’t quite remember what I paid for the bike, maybe 8 - 10 euro? But it’s such a big park, you really need some means of getting round it all!
@@nakedireland My wife can't ride a bike so we'd have to walk (that's my excuse and sticking to it 😂) . Not bad price though for hiring, €10 doesn't go far anymore so sounds good.
Great video - thanks for sharing. I love the Phoenix Park! I have a short video on my channel that also visits Farmleigh and Ashtown Castle in the Park.
That was great! I had no idea it was that large! If you get a chance , visit Dreen Gardens Co.Kerry, they have the First trees from North America to be planted in the Old World. Very beautiful.
I think its hard for our American cousins to imagine that such a place exists in little old Ireland of thatched whitewashed cottages with the occupiers sitting outside puffing on clay pipes.
Wow that's amazing beautiful park of Ireland. I really want to visit this country. Thanks
We’d love to have you visit! Thanks for watching.

Hi Buzzard, if you’d stayed it would have changed the whole course of your life! For better or for worse?

Cheers Lorcan, thanks for watching.

Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed it, I hope you’ll check out some more Naked Ireland vids.
Really enjoyed this one! You've definitely convinced me to pay a visit next time I'm down :)
Great James, you’ll love it.
I live across the road from the park! Love it. Did you know winston churchill lived in the park in the 1880s.
Wow, I did not know that - surely Randolph Churchill though? Winston would only have been a very young child in the 1880s?
@@nakedireland as a child, his brother was born in Dublin.

I thought everyone could ride a bike Rob?
@@nakedireland No, she never learned 😄
What bus stop to view the deers?
Not sure about that. I visited on bike I hired at the gates of the park.

Perhaps you’re right, but Phoenix park is certainly a spectacular place!
