    Outstanding Job !! I'm 72 and I've been collecting trains since I was 8 years old. I still have my 1st electric train and it still runs flawlessly. Also, I have over 30 engines and miles of rail stock and track. Wife thinks I'm nuts.. LOL.. Just bought another one today ~~~~ Oh Well.. I Love them and Her too.. LOL !!

    Sean, very nice presentation. Everything looks good to me except the new drive to the Myers house. I think it would look a LOT better if you pulled the black top up and changed it to a gravel or dirt drive. Use gravel, dirt etc. Put some dead bushed along the way. But deep six that black drive. All in my humble opinion. You have a great layout. Thanks for posting.

    Two of my favorite things, Ford and Halloween with Michael Myers, who isn’t fooling anyone by spelling his name Meyers…keep an eye on him because he might be planning on leaving town!
    I absolutely love the way you explain what you’re doing and you break it down for people like me who don’t have detailed layouts, but want to create one. I can’t wait to watch the next installment and I am really interested in this amusement park that is coming to town…a little too close to the Myers home, its going to bring a fresh batch of victims for The Shape!
    Keep up the amazing work, Sean…see you around the bend!

    Does the ballast you applied come off of the track easily? I want to add ballast to mine but I will be moving in a few years and want to be able to remove the track to start over wherever I end up

    • @seanstraindepot
      @seanstraindepot  Рік тому

      The track comes up fairly easily, and a lot of the ballast will still be stuck to it. If you watch Episode 1 & 2 you can see what happens, but you just lay it back down and fill in the missing ballast. Gluing anything will always be harder to remove than not gluing.

    • @seanstraindepot

      you have to remove the screws of a few sections and pull up the ones closet to the middle. Wouldn't be able to do just one section, has to be multiple.

    You are right Sean, modern ballast is well manicured and maintained. Angles are sharp and neat. IMO, When you are not using grass mat, you should do your ballast last. Real rail roads apply the ballast over the top of existing terrain. I always do my ballast last, but I do not use grass mats. Great video, thanks for sharing. Thanks, Russ from Oregon
