He also said if I left him he'd keep going to work to support me. But he "retired/quit" during our divorce when he was my only source of income
It takes time to understand the concept of boundaries. People in-love or infatuated, let boundaries fall by the way side. They end up getting eaten alive.

I had to get a TRO on my ex. She never physically showed up but she did send multiple messages and harassed me from multiple numbers. I ended up having the cops come to my house over 5 times while she was attempting to “end her life”. She just wouldn’t stop harassing me. It was sad and scary.

Me too. He keeps coming back here to live and hasn't paid any rent since October. I want him out so bad. I just don't want the argument it normally takes to get him to leave. My sons birthday was January 29. He been back ever since the party he begged me to come to. I regret letting him come cause now I can't get him to leave again. I'm gonna ask him to start sleeping in the living room and not in my bed starting tonight. I was gonna start sleeping in there myself but last time I did that he was just fine with me sleeping on the floor and him in my comfy bed. I'm gonna have to get rid of him some kind of way though. I'm trying to be patient until he's ready to discard me again and when he leaves me again, I can be done with him in my home. I did that before and it worked great and he was out of here for about 2 months until the birthday party. He used my 6yr birthday as a reason to hoover and I fell for it again. So now I'm waiting again for another heartbreak to be rid of him again. This is sad. We gotta do better friend. We can do better. But I know how lonely it gets, and starting over just seems so impossible. But we can do this with Gods help.

He wants to make sure no other guy is at my house. We don't even speak. It's so toxic! I have been pushing on getting a PO because I know when he's able to see our child again after I get a PO he's going to tell my son all kinds of bad things about me and manipulate him.

He only got visitation every other weekend and 2 weeks in summer which he chooses not to do. I'm so lucky I don't have children by this narc but not really cause he's latched onto to my 6 year old and in my sons eyes he can be as mean as he wants to me and as long as he says he's sorry to my boy, he gives him a pass. So if my ex-husband did this, honestly I WOULD BE TEMPTED TO ENGAGE . I would want him to be aware and to promise to change. The logic would fly out of my head and the hope in my heart would take over. I would have to remind myself to grey rock, not engage, ect. Have you thought of a sort of 3 panel video? Or maybe two role play videos back-to-back? The two response would be 1) What you feel like doing (engaging) and 2) What you really should do (grey rock and call the police). Last week prior to you releasing this video, I threatened my narc landlord with the police and legal consequences for calling out to me outside my window unannounced, telling me he was happily married after I asked him not to do that anymore, then showing up at my room door unannounced and trying to get in under false pretenses after I'd ignored his subsequent call and text after the "window" incident. I let him know in so many words, that if he doesn't respect boundaries or me, then he will respect the law, which he is not above. Sometimes you just get tired of taking the fear and intimidation. It’s been 7 years since the 2 yr relationship ended. It’s been 6 years since he got married and moved to the other side of world. He’s tried contacting me via every possible means, and I’ve blocked him on them all. He sent me a postcard with his number on, asking me to call him. Last week he got his sister to message me, and give me his phone number. I thanked his sister, so he knows I got the message. On the postcard, he said his efforts to contact me have been unsuccessful, but now he’ll realise that the lack of communication is my choice. Unlikely it will stop him trying though.
I think that if I hadn't moved out of the rental house my ex-narc and I shared, and bought me a house, he would have kept coming by doing/saying this same stuff you portrayed in the skit. I saw him in ALL of this! I blocked him after I officially moved out.

This sounds like a red flag for unaliving both of you and them if they keep stalking and also view you as property. I have heard numerous times cops not doing anything and then things going terribly. Not for leaving them but mine threatened to unalive when after the first time they hit me I said if they did it again I would call the police and they would take his weapons license away. He already had a warning on his file due to hitting someone and revealed that second one would mean they would take them away. Much later he would frame those conversations as jokes. I still don't know if they were to intimidate or actual threats. Not actually knowing what they are capable of keeps me up at night.

Ok I was with my ex for 14 years and got finally got fed up and left my abusive ex 9 years ago. He was abusive physically, mentally and emotionally. He was also very controlling, isolated me away from my friends and I’m not sure if he’s a Narcissist or not. When I first left him he followed me to my place of worship. I do have 2 children with him and one is grown(22) our youngest is 17 so unfortunately I do have to deal with him to some extent. I did have a restraining order on him a couple of years ago, but he hasn’t bothered me in years and was wondering if I should renew it? I do also remember one sick joke he had said while we were together saying if I ever left him that I would end up on the ID channel😟😟😟!! I think that he just said it to scare me though🤷🏿♀️.

This sounds like a red flag for unaliving both of you and them if they keep stalking and also view you as property. I have heard numerous times cops not doing anything and then things going terribly. Not for leaving them but mine threatened to unalive when after the first time they hit me I said if they did it again I would call the police and they would take his weapons license away. He already had a warning on his file due to hitting someone and revealed that second one would mean they would take them away. Much later he would frame those conversations as jokes. I still don't know if they were to intimidate or actual threats. Not actually knowing what they are capable of keeps me up at night.

A trick I’ve come up with is to keep my Match profile up, but in private mode so I can check the gps of my Ex narc and I can spot when he’s creeping my home.
If he’s close, then I’ll check my cameras.

Ok I was with my ex for 14 years and got finally got fed up and left my abusive ex 9 years ago. He was abusive physically, mentally and emotionally. He was also very controlling, isolated me away from my friends and I’m not sure if he’s a Narcissist or not. When I first left him he followed me to my place of worship. I do have 2 children with him and one is grown(22) our youngest is 17 so unfortunately I do have to deal with him to some extent. I did have a restraining order on him a couple of years ago, but he hasn’t bothered me in years and was wondering if I should renew it? I do also remember one sick joke he had said while we were together saying if I ever left him that I would end up on the ID channel😟😟😟!! I think that he just said it to scare me though🤷🏿♀️.
