Thank. You for bringing up the trash issue. I pick up garbage all the time and most is from other people fishing. I'd l0ve to show you. Some of the fishing line balls and crap I've pulled off snags in low water. And off the shore. It. Disgusts me that people disrespect our fisheries like they do.

Always at least two sticks. Hardware rod always. Never without a hardware rod. Catches all species of fish. Usually a bobber or side pounder. Go with what ya know. Confidence catches fish. Been fishing the worms fellas. Know it’s bound to happen. Trying new things. 🤙🏿🎣💪🏿 Always love the videos & tips. 👊🏿🖤🐟
P.S. forgotten boots myself Marlin. All good. One tip folks Winter Run fishing. Always base layers & fingerless gloves. As well as a good lite rain jacket. Once you’re cold & wet. Game over. Hypothermia isn’t fun stuff.

that olympic peninsula fishing the reservation was epic ,thats the way it use to be on the cowlitz, satsop and the toutle rivers back in the day. we ,my freind lou and i were on the satsop river ,pourimg down rain ,crossed two farmers land to the river ,no one else in sight ,we caught our limits ,on stealhead ,silvers etc. the biggest fish either of us have caught ever ,your trip to the reservation reminded me how fishing use to be,we actually had about a three inch x7foot pole full of our limits............i was humbly ..healed from that day on......loved your double episode on reservation...totally a dream place to be healed as you say with fish in the upper teens to the twenty lb mark ........how can you not become addicted.....rock till the wheels fall off guys ...good job

I know that creek well. Up river from there about a half mile on the other side of the highway is a house on a cliff with a stairwell that goes down 186 steps to the creek. right in that yard is the hole you want to fish for Cut throat in spring and steelhead in the winter. I used to own that house in the early 2000's. Great videos you guys have. I fish a lot of the Washington rivers and also all of the Oregon rivers. If I see you out there I will say hi.

I’m trying to catch my first steelhead and I’m only 13 but I don’t have leader. My setup is a bobber which is 3 feet abound the hook with a quick connect thing with a weight and an artificial egg. I’ve gone 3 times and had no luck I’m starting think it might be my setup

Love the fishing guys. Also I am glad you took a minute to show that garbage pile, and to hear Charles tell his story. Its something all of us see, but are somehow or someway ashamed to talk about. Fishing with my son and walking past needles on the beach last summer was an extreemly sad experience. Talking about this issiue and getting the word out is how we make a difference. Lets hope this new year brings the awareness we need and a positive change.

Homie keep your waders and boots in your truck! I keep mine in the cab of my truck and a spare pair in my tool box. When I get home hang them to dry and back in my truck they go(hidden of course). Or at the very least put a pair of Muck boots in your truck. Think smarter not harder lol.
