johhny tells V "kerry's crazy if he doesnt see these girls got something" about Us Cracks, because even though their top hit song had that anoying middle part this is how it began and ended I discovered this the other day while listening to the radio and they're the same song. during the game after the questline and in the epilogue of most endings Kerry ends up teaming up with Us Cracks and they enrich eachother's music styles and personal lives thanks to V and Johnny. even the band that judy has on her wall that Johnny trashes, Perilous Futur plays at johnnys ending when he is in the car with steve around the time he gets the guitar and it sounds very iconic for the rock moment and totally fits the rocker vibe until you hear the radio announcer say that was perilous futur, you can almost imagine johnny chuckling to himself realizing all kinds of new things now that hes decided to go a new way, quit smoking, change his old ways, he even changed 1 more kids life on his way out of night city maybe to make up for V's loss to the world.

As the two walk out through a door there is large cheering audience shouting "SAMURAI, SAMURAI, SAMURAI!!" V gets on stage with Kerry with their guitar. Kerry: "Well V... or Johnny. You ready to rock?" Johnny V: "Let's do it..." Then plays Never Fade Away!
My guess is that the freeze frame we see is mixed with the vid from the actual game with some additive filter, with some alpha layer trickery and cropping. It's a really nice effect.
