  • After global negotiations at #COP27, the #LossAndDamage fund has been created to assist climate-vulnerable countries like the Philippines to cope with the climate impacts.
    As global temperatures continue to rise, the Philippines can expect more frequent hotter days. Temperatures can get so high and result in heat exhaustion and heat stroke. For Nazrin, the heat triggered episodes of vertigo and migraine.
    This series of short videos entitled “Our health in today’s climate: Stories from the Philippines” is part of the Planetary and Global Health Program’s awareness raising campaigns for #ClimateHealth, supported by the Adaptation Research Alliance and the University of California-San Francisco.
