- Just a summary of where I have been. I Stewie has been home for almost 2 weeks, I am recovering from my hiatal hernia repair surgery and my wife is having her surgery on Monday from this writing.

I can't think of anything to say that isn't going to be repetitive or cliched. I am sorry to hear how just about everyone in your family--cat included--has been feeling poorly. I hope you all continue to recover from your ill health. I've missed your saucy reviews. I appreciate your honest opinion on things because it helps me decide if an item you review will be something I would like (even if you happen to hate it---LOL).
Awww thank you so much. I hope so too. I missed doing reviews as well. I also had an idea to talk about every day items folks can but that are actually art works in disguise as a functional goodness.
Anyway I have to keep getting better first. I hope that 2021 is a much better year for all of us!

Honestly I was too sick to feel anything most days. Just couldn’t even feel that. But I’ll be back as much as I can be and I’m glad to be able to do this much.
Oh no, what a terrible 2020 for all of us. I dealt with a second bout with C.Diff on top of IBS with D this summer and I totally understand stomach pains. I had to deal with ulcers and hernias in 2019 and know how terrible that is too. I'm just glad to hear from you. I don't comment on every video but I do love your channel and seeing you, your crafts and kitties. I DO hope that things start looking up for you. There will be a light at the end of this long tunnel. Sending you some very socially distanced hugs. Take your time in recovering, and remember that your health is always the most important thing.

My friend had problems all year, including Covid and lost 95lbs! She is doing better.
Another friend died unexpectedly.
I had a twisted bowel but got it untwisted by not eating or drinking (I had feeding tubes of course).
2020 has been horrid for sure. I didn't even decorate for Christmas. Because bending and reaching could twist my bowel again, and that could mean removal. I am on soft foods.
And, since I don't have a car, I have been to the store twice. I eat very little because I have very little. They will not deliver from the grocery store with EBT, so I have a lot of food stamps to spend when I can get some real food!
I was infected with bed bugs for months. And I broke a bone in my foot.
I sincerely hope we all have a much better 2021!

Yeah ManCat Stewie lost over 3 lbs in a year! Which is a lot. So that’s how the vet found his hyperthyroidism. But hopefully the treatment worked.
Ugh I’m sorry about your loss and your friend with long tail covid. It’s such a horrible illness. We were so lucky my father was only on the ventilator for a few days and appears to have made a full recovery.
As for your situation I would write to your congressman. And your state Senator. My sister wrote when my father and she got Covid and they got a lot of help as well as info and directions on more long term help. Of course not all congressmen can help but there have been set up a lot of food lines here. I know a friend who got a whole thanksgiving feast that way. She found the line and got online registered and got the food. Another friend got food deliveries of free pre cooked meals she just had to heat up once a week. I don’t know what state you live in though. Some states are better at this stuff than others. I know Los Angeles has a wondalunch program for free precooked meals. Same thing you register online and then you go during your time slot so you aren’t in a line for hours. Here in NYC they have set up food lines everywhere. It’s sad that we are at this place and time but I know a lot of places can’t ship to restaurants right now because they are closed or limited capacity so they started opening up. Here at least there is no maximum income or anything. If you need food they will give it to you. And they had different kinds of meals like sensitive stomach, kosher and so on.
It makes me sad that not every place is like that. We started donating to a food kitchen every month in New Jersey because that’s were my wife grew up. Anyway it makes me sad to see food insecurity. I wish I knew some specific places that deliver meals I could post. But I know they exist because pre covid I was there when my friend got one of her weekly food deliveries. Anyway I’m sorry.
Maybe I’ll do a video on where I donate so that others can list places in their states that they either donate to or get food deliveries from.
Edit: found this. Looks like you just enter a zip code and they connect you to places that deliver free meals in your area. It doesn’t like they charge anything or check income.

Wow, that's a LOT to go through! I'm so glad to hear that your Dad is okay and I hope his surgery helps him feel better overall. And I hope your sister can recover completely without any lingering "long covid" symptoms. Its a nasty virus!
There was a period in my life where I felt like going to the doctor was my full time job! It sounds like you have been having that kind of year and your wife as well. Having surgery is always a big deal so I hope it makes a difference for the two of you and that you can see your health improve over the coming months. Its good that you have each other to lean in during this difficult time.
Poor Stewie! I had hyperthyroidism and had radioactive iodine in 2018. It took a long time to feel like I was back to "normal" but Stewie will get there. He must have been feeling awful before he was diagnosed. It is so painful to watch our pets dealing with illness or injury and to be yelled at by the vet I'm sure didn't make you feel any better. I would be petting Stewie too! Its enough that he went through all that without having to deal with being quarantined at home. I understand the guidelines to keep your distance, but people are given the same treatment. Your touch and affection is probably exactly what he needs right now.
I would be interested in membership as a way of supporting your channel. I always learn so much from watching your art videos and I love the abstracts! I'm sending lots of good thoughts your way and hope that good health prevails in 2021!

I have been feeling a little better but it’s a slow process. Still I have been feeling a little better and that’s what counts.

thanks :) I do use them sometimes but mainly use poly chromos. the price of the prismacolor had dropped really far and then went back up. but i did spot that you can get the set of on amazon for $20. still expensive but less than some other sets
