Do not crimp after soldering, you will crack the solder and effectively ruin the soldered joint. Crimp first for fastening and then protect the contact by soldering. If you have proper crimping tools you can apply enough force to only crimp without soldering.
Something that came to mind as I watched this. I assume you have tried every possible piece of gear over the years. It would be nice to know why you have settled on a particular piece. For instance a video where you say: here are 5 lights I tried, Here are some of the things I liked or disliked about each piece and here is why I ultimately settled on X. This format would work for everything from lights to bivy sacks. Keep them at 10 minutes and people won't wander off in the middle. My 2 cents. Enjoying your stuff. Keep at it.

To be honest I've never had a problem doing it this way... but of course there are different ways to do it.
