I received my 2024 C8 Stingray in January and love it. The Z06 is a great car,but it would be a wasted extra $60k for me since I have no plans to track my car.
I traded my c8 stingray, for the z06
..totally worth it , NO comparison..z06 is a totally different level of car..can take on anything.
Phenomenal test drive, man that thing is fast, be careful not to get speeding tickets in these videos because you drive the cars so fast

Some dealers are marking them up 30 percent. But talk with them, and if you're trading in a Corvette you can bring that number down by saying you want more for your trade in.

430 lbs/ft seems kind of low.
Why would the frunk open from the rear? It’s 460lbs/ft for the Z06, and it’s built to be revved out. You’re not going to get the most out of the LT6 if you keep it below 3-4,000 RPM. Peak torque is around 6,300 or so.
@@danieldickerson4838 open from the rear just in case a latch fails so it doesn't blow open into the windshield.
It may be 460, which still isn't much, but this vid said 430.
@@Tom-kn6sr I see, who knows why the engineers didn’t do that! Yeah, the actual torque figure is 460 ft/lbs.
Can this corvette bet limbo
First, I am a car collector. Nice review! Always loved corvettes as my first one was a 1962 C1. I purchased it way back in 1978. Still own it today, along with 6 other vettes, C2, C3, C4, C6, and my favorite, which is a C7 2019 ZR1 Coupe with the 3ZR trim package. I do own a 2022 C8 Z51 package with endless upgrades. I also was on the list at the same dealer for a Z06. After 18 months of no movement, I lost interest. So, I decided to treat myself to an upgrade instead. Just recently took delivery of my 2024 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Coupe AWD. It has 631 hp 5.2 V10. It is mind-blowing to say the leadt. Yes, the price sticker was twice as much as the Z06, but they are also not apples for apples! The Lambo is far superior. It's GM's loss!
I am more than satisfied with the 22 C8 Z51 at a price point all in at $109,000k. I give GM credit for finally making the mid-engine. It was an 8 month wait for the 22' C8. 12k miles, no issues! I just don't agree with the approach that GM continued with post covid. I just can't wrap my head around C8 allocations and how the Z06 ate into the overall C8 allocations.
My wife will just have to settle with her 2022 Ferrari F488 Pista. She's happy, so I am thrilled. The other perk is that she's hotter than her car! Enjoy your rides!

I got one on stingray. The engine is itching to run. So aggressive. This car is like a fighter jet interiorwise and enginewise. The engine sounds so aggressive. I still have my Jaguar xk but this Corvette will put that to shame. I still love my Jaguar xk though.

It needs the z07 package with the big wing.
But more importantly I love the car but they should have put Lambo doors on that car from the factory after all they're making the car look very Italian with the motor in the ass. They should have went ahead and went all the way and put Lambo doors on the car

OMG who the heck designed this ugly steering wheel? Its.. square! Doesnt match my sense of attractivity. C7 has been much better. More room for custom styles. And simply... more beauti.
And like ALL supercars it's completely ruined with the pathetic paddle flippy transmission.
