@@atlienrider6048 I wasn’t a bad kid, I did everything correctly and the first child to go off to college also the youngest. I was always treated differently and it created a competition between me and my siblings. They were older and like the judges stated “thugs”, but still babied by my mother and extended family. It is hard as a child to sense favoritism, it creates a concept in your head that you constantly have to prove that you should be loved and deserved attention. It causes anxiety, behavioral issues, and potentially serious mental health issues.

Yeah, this accusation needed to be investigated more. I'm curious as to why she wrote the check. Back in the '90s, we learned about writing checks. It was a foreign concept like it is now. Maybe she knew the ones she wrote in class were fake and wanted to use a real one to feel like an adult. I know I asked my parents if I could fill out checks for them when it came time to pay the bills because I wanted to show them I could write real checks. Or maybe, she wrote the check to pay for a field trip that her parents couldn't/wouldn't pay for. Knowing the why helps others understand why something was done in the first place. The judge dismissed this as defiant behavior without even knowing why she wrote the check.

Also, she’s clearly a liar and I wouldn’t put it past her that her daughter ended up in the psych hospital because of her lies! I don’t know any teenage mother ending up in the psych ward upon disclosing her pregnancy. I feel like there’s more to the plaintiff’s story. I am a huge fan of JM, however in his attempt to humor the audience or even himself, it comes across as he’s not objectively considering key points of the testimony.

@@positively_queen0620 Happy New Year sis! I ordered mine from Amazon. It’s uncomfortable for most people to discuss mothers in a negative light. But, I’m courageous enough to speak for myself and other women who have been treated horribly by their mother. The world will try to gaslight us and make us believe it’s not that bad but that’s bullshit. I can adit with confidence that there has not been another woman in my life who has hurt me and betrayed me like my own mother. If a mother don’t want to be described this way by their children then they shouldn’t behave in certain ways. I tell my sister all the time we had 2 different experiences with our mother and you or nobody else will make me undermine what I’ve suffered at her hands. That’s how people end up drastically mentally ill. They take the responsibility for what someone else has done to them. Well, not me. God bless you Sis and I pray you find your peace.

@@theeagleslairchannelwithcoacht Yes...exactly. For years I took verbal and mental abuse. There were others around who enabled it trying to say I needed to learn how to get along. Some people just don't care when it comes to stuff like that. They feel you should accept it, because it's family. I was trauma bonded, and co-dependent for years dealing with the abuse. I was miserable, bitter, depressed, and swore there was something seriously wrong with me. People like this can be very manipulative too. They are also great at playing victim. I know my mother never loved me either, and I'm also okay with that. My love is unconditional, and I love from a distance. I've been healing for many years now. Thank God it's people out here who have experienced this, because it does feel lonely sometimes. Love your awareness. :D Much love and respect.

I’m so serious about this that I ended a 20 year friendship because she didn’t get it. And she would gaslight me and say things like yeah but at least your mom was this or that. It began to feel like more trauma so I couldn’t talk to her as much anymore. Because the pain these mothers put us through is real. The things they do are cold and deliberate. But people who’ve had great relationships with their mother will NEVER understand. That’s why we need support groups. “Daughters of unloving mothers”.
