How to Change your oil in the 2016 equinox Basics

This is just some quick info on the basics of changing your own oil on the 2016 equinox .
I’m not a mechanic I just play one on UA-cam.
The tool to take off the filter was what kept me from changing my own oil for a few years …
until I did a little research ..
I don’t mind taking it in to get it done by a pro but we are very remote and the time they are open doesn’t always match my schedule..
but I think I save about about $30 on each oil change .. we don’t have quick oil change places near us.. but we do have shops that take old oil.. I also just like being able to do it myself on my own time.
32 mm. Low profile socket with swivel and extension is what I needed. You’ll also need of course oil drain pan jack and stands
Maybe needle nose pliers and socket or wrench to take off the oil drain plug and a funnel.. I had everything except the 32 mm low profile socket..
