Wow, i love it! Looks like a city landscape…. It has an urban feel to it… i see buildings, trees… thanks for sharing. I have been learning a lot with you and i am quite proud of what i did so far. I work on canvases so it’s quite different but you taught me the basics. ❤

Beautiful! Do you use something to seal the oil pastels?
Thank you 💗 I have sprayed my page a couple of times with an all purpose sealer but it’s not completely sealed. I may have to get one for oil pastels specifically. I don’t often work with oil pastels and I often don’t seal work in my books. Too lazy I think 🤔 for me it’s okay if it smears a bit. I don’t mind. Art journaling for my is more about the process and less about the finished page.
I’m new to this site and the art form. I need materials and would love to know the products you’re using if you’d hold up to camera for name etc. I know you list in info but I need to see product label. For future. What’s in jar? Love your work and it’s the style I like. Thank you!
Thank you so much. It’s transparent gesso, I use it to prime the page and protect the papers from wet mediums. You can also use white gesso if you don’t mind the papers get covered up. I got a similar request recently about showing materials more closely. It doesn’t work that well because I am using just an iPhone to record and I can see the screen when I’m working. Also I’m just recording my process and it’s not an actual tutorial. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding materials even if I have a material list. I’m recording on my free time as a hobby. I hope you understand. ☺️ I also have a few videos with me talking, more as a tutorial. You can check start art journaling with me if you haven’t already.
