Either way, you can buy the EuropeCity (EC) also online. Immigration usually done at the bordering city where officers will board the train and check travel documents.
Hi there, I'm planning a trip with my daughter to Lake Como in July, would you suggest we buy the tickets in advance and will it show things like platform numbers in advance? Also you mentioned something about the elevators and not to use them, do pick pockets use them?
Hi, buying tickets in advance can be a better choice in the high season like this coming summer, platform number usually displays within 15 minutes to departure time. I would suggest avoiding the elevator as it could easily be set as a pickpockets trap. Take the escalator belt instead. I hope this helps.

If you asked this question like 5 years ago there's actually a Mediaworld electronic store inside Centrale station, but they moved out already. You can try to go to Euronics located in CityLife mall shopping district just take the M5 metro and get off at Tre Torri station headup to the exit and you will find the mall entrance right away.

At 7:59 in the video you showed a yellow machine to validate ticket. Is it for all the trains and is it located in all platorms? I have train to Venice tomorrow should I validate ticket from Venice also when coming back?
Hi, that yellow box was specifically for Trenord train (serving Lombardia region), while for trenitalia usually it is a green box. If bought a physical paper ticket usually from machine and ticket office and you are taking a regional trenitalia or highspeed freccia trains then you have to validate on each departure. But if you got your tickets online or mobile app then no need to validate it.

You can browse for are in Via Napo Torriani as there are plenty of options for hotels on that street and within very close walking distance to Centrale station

Just wondering is it easy to get taxi using the app? And do you know the average cost of taxi from milano centrale to hotels in the city centre?
If it's more convenient for you then I can suggest using Uber here in Milan. You can also request a regular white taxi from Uber or you could take the posh black executive taxi. Approximate fare available on the app as well .
a question: i bought a trenitalia ticket online, you still need to check in online?
If you received the ticket file with a QR code or booking code also got the passenger name written on it then it should be fine you can board the train directly.

Hello, sure you can. A ticket within its validation time can be used for multiple times on all modes of transport metro, bus and tram.

Yes you can, but please be mindful of the rush hour it will be more difficult to navigate with your luggage and also be very careful of your surroundings as you may become an easy pickpockets target.
