I have just found you when I searched for onigiri variations. I am so impressed by your work! I've subscribed to your channel immediately too, I found a lot of beautiful things here. Thank you! Greetings from Hungary.
Hello Miss Takoshiho😁✌.Very nice video as always.I wanted to make a question about rice though.I cooked once sushi rice,it had the taste of vinegar. But some hours later the flavour has gone. What should i do to keep the flavour in the rice? Thank you
Hi! Unfortunately, the vinegar flavor will be gone if you leave the rice for a few hours, so I try to make sushi rice 30 mins before I use. But occasionally I add vinegar after reheat the sushi rice in a microwave if I need to use it later on. Hope it works!
could you offer some ideas as to the amounts of things you used? For example, the wasabi+soy+mayo. Also, do you have a video about making dashi? Thanks! I am going to try these as soon as I can.
Thanks! Some ingredients might not be familiar for you. I just wanted to show how Japanese make a modern veggie onigiri in this video, so I didn't make this as a recipe video. So I didn't measure exact amount of the ingredients. But wasabi+soy+mayo = 1/2tsp:1tsp:1tsp should be good! Hope you can get some ideas how to make your own original veggie onigiri at home :) And you can make dashi watching this video! 2.5 US cup water, 4 inch kelp, 0.7 oz dried bonito flakes. ua-cam.com/video/BtLXkcQNDAM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TakoshihoCooksJapan

I‘m so glad i found these cute onigiri recipes and i‘ll definitely try one. So the traditional onigiri was only with salt?
Thank you! I'm glad you like my videos! Yes, traditional onigiri is just coated with salt. People still love the simple one even now.
