Hello, When installing both DXVK and Fusion Fix, it crash at the opening of the game
Lucky you, with 75 steady fps and max settings i would never need a remaster 🤩
Google DXVK, you'll get the github page, it works with most newer AMD & Nvidia GPUs. You just need to put the d3d9 dll file into the gta iv root directory. On first start-up it might take some minutes to load shaders which will cause a bit of stutters, but after that it's smooth most of the time like in the video.
@@EestiGaming ik you're right it works with most newer and i add most famous (gtx 1050) gpu's. It's sort of incompatible with my current one. But how long did you play with it before it got smooth?
@hardblowz_ I actually ran the benchmark once before getting into the game, and it took maybe 10 minutes for the game to become smoother. After that, next launches take maybe 30-60 seconds to become smooth during gameplay.
Is your GTA IV installed on an SSD? That probably speeds up shader loading quite a bit.
@@EestiGaming no it's on HDD but my pc is too low to push games anyway. When I upgrade GTA IV will be a must.
@@nitrosodium The GTX 1050 should be enough for GTA IV at 1080p. SSDs can be purchased for 25-30eur for 500GB and 40-60eur for 1TB ones, worth checking it out.
Whenever i try to use DXVK i get stuck in windowed mode and i get less frames in 1080p
Trying pressing Alt+Enter when the game has loaded, it should full-screen the game.
As for less frames, have you tried to drive around for a few minutes to let dxvk load all the shaders? It is also possible that if your GPU is quite old, it doesn't play well with Vulkan.
Also, make sure you have the latest gpu drivers.
@EestiGaming I'm running a 2070 and 8700 cpu.
I tried both the 64 and 32 bit and I'm using the 2.3 latest version of dxvk. I'm using a 240hz benq monitor.
Yea I'm not too sure why it isn't working properly I downgraded with that downgrader program before hand and I'm using the steam complete edition.
@Forgoten214 I didn't downgrade my game personally. I'm running the latest steam version.
@EestiGaming oh ok, i might just reinstall it that way then i only downgraded because i wanted to play multi player but the windows live is broken. Only thing i liked with the downgraded version is the original music
@@Forgoten214I also put just the d3d9 dll into the gta iv root folder and locked the game to 75fps.
Can you please tell me how to install fusion fix in gta 4 , i have gta 4 complete edition btw 😅. I really need help .
Will dxvk improves my fps ? I have Intel hd 4400 ( potato ) , and will the dxvk supports it ?
Open the github link from the description of this video, download dxvk-2.3.tar.gz from the assests of the latest post, unzip d3d9.dll into the main folder of GTA IV. Then just start up the game and give it 10-15 minutes during gameplay to load all shaders and see if the performance has improved.
No idea if your integrated graphics will support it, but it doesn't hurt to try.
@@EestiGaming yea , better to try it 🤞
You know how to install fusion fix ?
@@Joker71219I wouldn't recommend it as the shaders included in Fusion Fix (specially in newer versions) may require more resources to run without poor performance.
@@icesackboy5897 I have already tried the fusion fix , it gives me 35 fps in the benchmark tool , which is decent and playable for me 🎮😁
does fusionfix lower your fps a little bit too? or just me?
I have the FPS locked to 75 in GTA IV. It is entirely possible though that it does lower FPS since I think it brings some new reflections to the game.
Yes it does
Make sure you have smaa disabled in the game tab on the pause screen it’s a huge fps hog just use fxaa in the graphics tab
Bro how did you make the reflections so high? I want them tooooooooo 😂.
It's due to FusionFix, you can find the download link to it from the description of the video.
I don't know if im gonna get a reply considering this video is from a year ago, but I need some help, im confused between the complete edition and the downgraded versions, if I go with the complete edition i will miss out on Zolika Patch which is a decent mod, but if I go with the downgraded versions I will miss out on FusionFix which is also a great mod, I don't know which one to choose..
I've never used Zolika Patch, but I personally prefer the game to be as close to original as possible. Whichever one does that, I'd go for that.
@@EestiGaming Damn I didn't expect you to actually reply thank you for the help lol
Game looks better on tbogt due to the color filter
Which version of gta 4 here?
Complete Edition, keep in mind to instantly recognize that it is complete edition whenever you see it with Fusion Fix.
I can barely cracks 60 fps can you help cause i get alot of frames unmodded and bench mark crashes
Brother apky pc ki kya modification h ram processor etc?
