Great comparison! Very honest and very detailed. I think you are right that the biggest factor is what would fit best in your collection. Generation Toy definitely fits in my collection the best and I love the look of the bots themselves.
It does help a lot I've been trying to figure out which of these to get but thanks to your thorough review I'm now more inclined to the Generations. Appreciate the effort you took on getting this together.
Loved your review Bobby Skullface! But once I saw the Jinbao Devastator, I was SOLD!!! It looks amazing!!! It compensates for the size of Toyworld but without parts forming. And the bot/vehicle modes on the Jinbao is amazing with the stylization IMHO. I just ordered my first Devastator and it will be a Jinbao. Hope to get a review on it from you! Keep up the great work!
This video is just what I needed as I start lettering this morning after a loooong NYCC. Good comp, nice smooth delivery, dude. I feel relaxed and ready to keep rolling. Maybe that sounds weird, but seriously thanks for a great video.
Nice vid! Most reviewers give Toy World's the edge. You can't beat G1 nostalgia. So, the quest for the best Devestator is far from done. We don't want partsforming!
Awesome video. So detailed and hits on all points. Did you see the new Toyworld Devi with G1 cell shaded colors up for pre order? I ordered the deluxe version. Thoughts/comments...do you think this will be superior due to the more G1 cartoon color render? Thank you, just subbed your channel.
Times have changed. Bought the oversized gravity builder from Jinbao. Very happy with it. Nice that the individual constructicons are the size of Takara grapple and Inferno instead of alert and sideswipe. $150 was all it costs. That's allot of bot for the buck.
Been looking forward to this one. Great review, and spot on in my opinion. TW fits in a lot better with MP collections both aesthetically and scale-wise (both in combined mode and the individual bots). GT is good if you're looking for updated alt modes or nice detail work. I get that some people are irked because they already have combiners that scale with GT, but none of those guys really scale well with an MP collection. It's good to have options. Thanks for the comparison.
Wow this video was made 3 years ago. Today I purchased the ToyWorld - TW-C07X Constructor Perfect Edition. Only 300 being sold worldwide. Looks like a new headsculpt, paint and build quality got better. It's an awesome time to be a Transformers collector which I only started collecting Masterpiece this year.
The one thing I'll say about Devastator in general is that he can stand on his own just fine as a singular piece, unlike other combiners who generally look better with other combiners. So the larger size isn't much of an issue in that regard.
Technically Devastator is less than the sum of its parts, so hes slow as a sloth kinda sorta. But who cares about that, to me he works well against Fanstoys Iron Dibots and thats what counts the highest, can he 2 fist Sludge in the back if said robot is in Dino mode beliveable? If yes he is big enough. I went for Toy Worlds version and his right arm wont lock in place even if Scavengers life depends on it. The head is not my favourite, that 1 belongs to Gravity builder but a head does not make up for an entire combiner, and it aint allowed to be allergic to be touched and disconnect here and there just by a simple poke.
The thing about the GenToy head is, for me it calls back to those days of horrible thousand dollar kitbashes on eBay before TFC finally stepped up to the plate with Hercules. You know why? Because he _still has Cybertron Starscream's helmet_ Feels a bit regressive, TBH.
Bobby thank you for this review! Man oh man, they both look great, if they had both been the size of toyworld man it would have been hard,if toyworld had generations head it would havebeen damn near perfect!
Thank youuu for putting together this review. It's a lot of work and a lot of dough. I appreciate it and been looking forward to it. Two beautiful combiners man. I started the GenToy and will complete it. Loving the busy details, the vehicle modes and the style of the bots. Wish the thighs were longer but that's me nitpicking. Again thank you Bobby!
Thank you for your in depth review. I was really torn on what Devestator I wanted and I think im going to go with toyworld. Only because the set looks more G1. I don't like the head as much, but hopefully they come out with a better head. I really appreciate you spending the money and doing a review on both!
Bobby Skullface L, I love your reviews and honest your opinion on all the Transformers. You and Ben Collectibles are my Unbox Therapy for Transformers lol, so I don't waste thousands of dollars on figures I don't need. Though they do intrigue me enough to inquire about. Oh and show Sunstreaker a little more respect when you showcase him in your videos. I always chuckle how you just toss him on screen, lol. Straight up, Rodney Dangerfield, you give him no respect lol. People who hate Hotrod give him better treatment than you give Sunstreaker. lol But may the Lord Jesus Christ continue to protect you and your family as you continue to journey thru this life. Peace and greetings from Houston, TX.
Hi, I know this topic is a bit old already, but I have a brief cuestión; If Iike combining and de-combining muy toys, which one of these two buddies do you suggest me? If possible, I would like to know why. Thanks.
So in-depth and detailed - great work as always, good sir. I must say, the ToyWorld one fits "my" style more, but both look great for different purposes. If the GT bot modes weren't so damned kibbley (is that a word?), they'd look outstanding.
This video makes me more confident in my purchase of Gravity Builder. I considered the Jinbao for the size and cheap cost but ultimately went with Generation Toys.
Great review BobbySkullface! Loved your breakdown. Have you reviewed the Jinbao Devastator? I just purchased him and he is AMAZING!!! I'd love to hear what you think about the comparison between Toyworld and Jinbao Devastator. Are you going to compare them?
I agree 100% with you!, but the Jin boa Ko oversized gravity builder looks so good with the new upgrade kit that makes him taller and puts him in that larger masterpiece scale that you like and the g1 head, I mean have you seen it yet?
Man, this video looks like it was a bear to put together. I appreciate the work you put into these videos. Great comparison, I'm going TW for my MP scale and the GT for my chug scale. I'm currently using CW for my chug but as we all know that's way too large and way too hollow. So for me, there's the solution.
Both gestalts are excellent additions to any self respecting collector's collection. You win with either one! For me, I'm leaning FAAAAAAR heavier towards Gravity Builder. The modern design seals it for me!
DrLockdown Apparently it's not ToyWorld, but a company called Zeta Toys, with their Blastoff and Vortex. Also, Unique Toys has joined the competition with their Swindle and Brawl.
Yeah, I saw. Back when I made the comment it was still Toyworld. The split is a recent thing. As for Unique Toys, I just can't justify them. Swindle's chest looks a bit lazy to me, and overall it's going for a hyper-toon aesthetic. On the other hand, I hear that the Zeta Toys limbs will be $60. Could be false information and rumours, but something's up if they intend to make their figures the size of the MP-10 yet that cheap.
Great summary of both of these sets. I went with GT Devy, for my collection, he just fits. I can have him battle my Maketoys Defensor and I think they will look great together on my shelf. I do like how big the Towworld Devy is, but he would be a stand alone piece with all my other stuff, not necessarily a bad thing, but not for my collection.
you should check out the jinbao gravity builder.. i have both the original Gravity builder and the Jinbao, and if size is an issue, the JB fixes that and improves on the flaws that the original had... Check Emgos review.
im real happy that you said that scale is in the eye of the beholder. I have been preaching the same this brother. this is just like you said. personal preference will decide this battle. in fact. personal preference is always what it comes down to. awesome video. thankyou. I really enjoyed. see you at TFCON.
Been looking forward to this video for a while. Nailed it on every assessment. One of the most honest comparisons of the two. I agree on every point. BTW, Scavenger can be turned around the other way. I've had mine that way since I got it. I'm not sure why more photos don't show it. Just fold in the two flaps next to his arms and it works. The tabs get in the way a bit so it's not entirely smooth, but it's not that noticeable and the overall look is much better.
Cid The Kid that's true but because of the tab issue I figured the fairest way to compare would have been the way they intended. Thank you for the kind words and for watching!
Great review , Mr.Bobby. This review is very impressive and I can see how hard to make this VDO. Thank you very mush for your hard work. Personally, I think I will get Generation toy set when a price drop. because I don't have space enough for Toyworld. And I want to complete combiner Warbotron scale. And may be waiting for Toyworld Superion and Bruticus.... may be I'llchange my mind...
Nice work Bobby. Solidified my mind that I chose correctly for me. Maybe someone asked already, you said a few times that TW Scavengers digger was facing the wrong way. I can't for the life of me recall an incarnation of him where it didn't face down. What am I missing?
Allotawat ? Well in the cartoon it just "disappeared" but a lot of companies and artists have had it folded up on the shoulder so for a lot of people it's just become a "norm"
Great job man, and I think any collector who has been following these should by now have come to the same conclusions. If a good predaking came out in TW scale I'd be in on that, as feral rex is too small really for me despite being one of my all time favorite molds, and if FT jumped on a masterpiece Devy again that would be a shoe in. For now tho, I'm good with Gt/Warbo scale. Dare i ask, has Mrs Skullface ventured an opinion and a whole new set of combiners, or are you keeping quiet on that one? Thanks for another great vid Bobby.
that's ALL I NEED. I HOPE THEY REVEAL HIM. OMEGA IS MY FAVORITE AUTOBOT! my pockets weep, I gotta buy a second car but with wht Fanstoys has coming and Planet x apocalypse I'm just Stuck man
You need a smaller favorite Autobot lol! How bout Cosmos? :) Seriously though, it might be smart to release Omega in pieces like build-a-figure style. That way it's less of a cost right away and they don't have to compromise the scale.
Does the toyworld scrapper lock into place to prevent an ankle tilt up and down as a Devy leg? Mine isn't floppy, but it has a bit more play than I care for due to the universals in scrappers robot hips and knee ratchets. Just wondering if I fucked it up lol. I liked this comparison btw, very hood idea to do the quick cuts for all the articulation. It shows off each unit real well.
Only thing that throws me off on toyworld version is he reminds me of the g1 devi toy with the crazy devi add on set. Especially with the waist section being a add on. Generation toys devi went full out to make longhaul become the lower torso section. Great review as always.
what would be cool is having a battery opporated motors or wind up feature motors for an add on for the drills a third party part like a double sided staff drill spear with chains. just an idea.
I just got the box set of Toyworlds Constructor. In the booklet that it came with. It shows the Combaticons and Stunticons are in it in a card type drawings. So maybe those are coming in the future. The box set has the bits for Long Hauls fix and the more toy accurate Devastator head. I think I'd rather have the original on this though but oh well. My complaint still is that I think they're a bit small. I get that they want to keep it toon accurate. But I this case I think they should have skipped that. Hopefully if Fanstoys comes along and makes them. They will be bigger. Not sure how they would do that given that they add quite a bit of die cast of their figs. I just put together Scraper and Shrapnel. That Ft insect felt twice as heavy. So if Ft makes one it will probably weigh 8 lbs. I'll put Devy together this weekend I hope. Great review as always Bro.
Toyworld is releasing a fix for Long Haul's feet that give him heel spurs as well as parts to bulk out the combined form. There's also someone else making a G1 head for it. Overall, I go with TW on all three modes. I can deal with some tolerance issues if it gives me an impossibly huge but still stable combiner. For reference: facebook.com/DaimChocReports/photos/pcb.336035736746860/336035496746884/?type=3&theater
No it's not. It probably came off but there's two push ins to keep it snug. I have the green and yellow Devestator. No issues at all with both and they're the favorites of all my combiners. TFC's Superion is horrible and feels the same way. Cheap and weak
Loved this comparison vid a lot! the ToyWorld one is just too tall for me which is weird to say, but I love the squat bulkiness of the GenerationToy one a lot more!
Good comparison. I was all in for TW until the combined mode proportions threw me right off. I do hope they come out with a good V2 giftset with another head and I might consider it.
I didn't think there would be such a size difference. Yes the Toyworld's looks impressive, but the GenerationToy's colors look impressive as well. The GenerationToy looks nicely bulkier as well.
I prefer the size and the toy like gimmicks of the Toy World, but at the same time I find the Generations Constructicons to be more fancy. They do things the original one's (and other third party transformers) don't, have less parts forming, and have more complex and detailed appearance. Now, there IS going to be an updated, and UPSCALED version of the Generations Toy Devastator. That version, may bring out a clear winner.
They both look good in their own way. If I have to pick I for collection I would go with Toyworld in a heart beat. Look more superior due to hieght and more G1 looking
Mann! Lol don't fool yourself..The Generations Toy is superior in every way, the Toy World as a combiner looks like complete Junk. I mean just look at it, the only thing it has is height and that's only because of the parts forming. Great review.
I prefer the generation toys Devastator overall. Toyworld's Devastator looks a bit to off and the head alone bothers the hell out of me. Also Toyworld's Devastator is painted green where there should obviously be another color. The generation toys Devastator looks more anime style.
Just going for posing/display purposes, I Gotta go with Toy World. Generation Toy got the Green/Purple color combination right as the Constructicons had more of a faded purple color (looking at pics of the cartoon) But I kinda like the deep purple of the Toy World version more. It translates better to a toy I think. Devastator frequently looked bigger in the G1 show than you would think is proper to his size so that's not a big deal. Toy Worlds version also looks less clunky and closer to the G1 cartoon overall, including the head mold. Toy World: Like the size, less clunky looking, prefer the head sculpt. Generation Toy: They got the color scheme more accurately.
I like Generation Toy’s Devastator. I’m gonna get the Green Shadow version off of TF Source because it’s the cheapest version because it’s $500 ($499.99). I might buy it after Christmas as a late Christmas present for myself. One plus about the Green Shadow version is that it Clear green which means put a light under it and it will glow like a Christmas tree.
Interesting how these are almost exactly like Giant vs. TFC back in the days. One is smaller, more stylized, one is bigger and simpler looking. I like Toyword being G1 faithful, but part forming kills the deal for me. I just can't imagine the 6 guys going back to base to pick up the parts before forming devastator.
Sand down the sides of the tabs that connect scrapper to the thigh, this will make the connection easier and give constructor a more streamlined look because scrapper is all the way forward
I think I'm more on board with Generation, Toyworld's really bugs me proportionally, not so much scalewise as much as the bodily proportions just feel really weird. That being said, part of me wants to see someone tackle the IDW angle with either of them, with a Hook-leg or Scoop-leg and a Prowl head/upper torso. Of course that's pretty unlikely to happen but it'd be a neat novelty.
Bobby Skullface L I like him well enough until something better in my eyes comes along. I was just stating my opinion on them because I always feel he gets left out. I know he's not the best, cheap materials, poor design, and bad QC. But he is under $200 and if you put him on a shelf in a pose and leave him there, he's not so bad. Btw, loving the podcasts. It brings a great deal of joy to my week. Keep up the good work kind sir.
the nice thing about toy world is they can match an mp collection in all three modes better. I can't afford either so I've been using combiner Wars for my mp shelf, other than long haul they work pretty well so I've contemplated toyworld long haul as a robot mode stand in.
I like the shorter 1, but I always thought that the Transformers should've been miniature. The same size as the Hot Wheels vehicles. The joint shouldn't be click, click, it should be automatically smooth & durable & as flexible like the human body.
i prefer toyworld for the G1 look and its size. the only thing that bothers me is the scoop arm cant be turned around and cleaned up. a minor nitpick but it looks sloppy. otherwise a home run for toyworld. thanks for this!
I don't own either of these two sets, I can't speak in terms of build quality (being "toys" this is obviously important) but aesthetically, to me Toyworld hit all the right boxes, at least in terms of a masterpiece collection. the G1-esque styling for not only separate bot modes and their alt modes but also combined mode.
I just received my "GT Engineering" Devastator. Quite a bit different than these. Not quite as stylized as the real GT, but I think better colors and variation than the Toyworld. They are heavy, sturdy, tight, and there are several metal pieces as well as some more color variety (e.g., pelvis, chest, dozer buckets). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to anyone, collectors or kid players. There are a few sellers on eBay selling them for ~$31 right now (May 29, 2020), which is actually $20 cheaper than when I purchased about 2 weeks ago. Now, one cement mixer didn't have silver paint on one side of the grill (oops), and the crane fronts don't stick together as well as all the other posts and tabs. You can search for "GT Engineering", it may be called "Green God". The link below is exactly what I bought - look carefully at grills, pelvis and details to make sure you're getting the high quality. It's actually XianBianZhanShen 6 in 1 alloy King Kong God, but that won't show up in the title nor descriptions. (www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-Devastator-6-In-1-GT-Engineering-Truck-Robot-Action-Figure-11-Toys/202696524429?var=502811245063&hash=item2f31a7828d:g:mDYAAOSwtfpc8~tn)
I still think devastator should be the bigger of the combiners. The other combiners sizes should vary. I still like Toyworld. But hopefully i hope fanstoys takes a crack at a devy. But for the time being, Toyworld was my choice from the beginning. I hope someone comes along and makes a Omega Supreme to take on TW devastator.
Great comparison! Very honest and very detailed. I think you are right that the biggest factor is what would fit best in your collection. Generation Toy definitely fits in my collection the best and I love the look of the bots themselves.
GeneralRasp thanks!
I like the generation toy gravity builder devastator !

Nice vid! Most reviewers give Toy World's the edge. You can't beat G1 nostalgia.

Damn this toy has come a long way since G1 days...😳..nice vid bro.
Such a great time to be a transformers collector! Great review.

I think it is cool how much your comparison videos have evolved since this video both are great but the modern style is more explanatory

generation toy. theres a difficult combining section with the toyworld
Bobby Skullface L Thanks Bobby, you are cool!
Hey Bobby, is this still your Devy setup? (Toyworld combined, generation toy bots)
So in-depth and detailed - great work as always, good sir. I must say, the ToyWorld one fits "my" style more, but both look great for different purposes. If the GT bot modes weren't so damned kibbley (is that a word?), they'd look outstanding.

I don't think he reviews or buys KO's due to ethical reasons.
@@georgesewell3936 Oh, well that makes sense.

DrLockdown Then again, about the Zeta part, it would also depend on plastic type, too.
Either that or they're selling them at a loss. Something's amiss. At their size I'm a bit worried.
is that gravity builder oversized devy
Great review. 👊😎
Great summary of both of these sets. I went with GT Devy, for my collection, he just fits. I can have him battle my Maketoys Defensor and I think they will look great together on my shelf. i like gt. more details, enough size, strong joints, more heavier and badass looking, most of all well placed scrapper's shovel.
theyre both great so whichever speaks to you more is the right decision :)
where's the front wheels on mix master?that's the first thing I noticed that bothered me.
Aurora Serrao they flip inside for better stability

If a good predaking came out in TW scale I'd be in on that, as feral rex is too small really for me despite being one of my all time favorite molds, and if FT jumped on a masterpiece Devy again that would be a shoe in. For now tho, I'm good with Gt/Warbo scale.
Dare i ask, has Mrs Skullface ventured an opinion and a whole new set of combiners, or are you keeping quiet on that one?
Thanks for another great vid Bobby.
astartespete she is very critical of my devy commitments I'll say
at least now you can distract her with your turtles collection haha!
hard to tell which version you're referring to in the review unless you already know a bit about the two versions
luckily i have separate reviews of both to hopefully bring one up to speed :)
The original G1 toy Mixmaster had a green barrel, so that maybe why they went with the green.
Do you think we'll see TWs Superion or Bruticus at TFCon?
eyescovered I'm HOPING
when is tfcon, I wanna see what Fanstoys is gonna pull out. supposedly they're gonna reveal 3-4 figures before this year's end.
October 21-23. Wondering if we'll ever see FT Omega Supreme.
that's ALL I NEED.
Krommdor thanks man. As for the tilt you know how my memory is
good video bro. can u do a tr01 jazz scale video. I can't find any vids on UA-cam of a "masterpiece" jazz next to other MP figures
I like the smaller one with the stylised and dark purple :)
I just got my TW Devy and love it. Are you still in 2020, with TW Devy as YOUR Devy and Generations as the bots? Give us the 2020 scoop!
Great question!!!!!
TW all the way. It fits with the MP lines better. I don't care what ppl say. Devy was the 1st TF combiner and he needs to be huge and badass.
Zhang Yi enjoy!
Only thing that throws me off on toyworld version is he reminds me of the g1 devi toy with the crazy devi add on set. Especially with the waist section being a add on. Generation toys devi went full out to make longhaul become the lower torso section. Great review as always.
Carl Smith many thanks
It's my understanding ocular max are delving into the combiner game with a hotspot...... I ponder as to which size they'll choose?
Cliff Jacker I was thinking the exact same thing!!!
good reminder. damn you MMC for the late entry!
I think I'm gonna wait too see which scale route MMC go down
what would be cool is having a battery opporated motors or wind up feature motors for an add on for the drills a third party part like a double sided staff drill spear with chains. just an idea.
Which one is cheaper tho?
Great review as always Bro.
its funny man I actually wish they were a tad smaller. scale is in the eye of the beholder I suppose
Bobby Skullface L wow. Smaller. Really. Yes in the eye of the beholder.
I have the generations toy gravity builder and love it
As a newer collector, what does CHUG mean? I hear it thrown around often
classics henkei universe generations (lines of transformers)
Great Review. How will each of these scale with the new Fans Toys Omega Supreme though? I think that might change your decision now.
yea the toyworld will be most size appropriate for that
Toyworld is releasing a fix for Long Haul's feet that give him heel spurs as well as parts to bulk out the combined form. There's also someone else making a G1 head for it. Overall, I go with TW on all three modes. I can deal with some tolerance issues if it gives me an impossibly huge but still stable combiner.

ReynAnimations glad to hear it
Despite being pretty big for what I'm going for, I prefer Toyworld Constructor
1:48 noticed that the GT dump trucks grill is falling off.
No it's not. It probably came off but there's two push ins to keep it snug. I have the green and yellow Devestator. No issues at all with both and they're the favorites of all my combiners. TFC's Superion is horrible and feels the same way. Cheap and weak
Loved this comparison vid a lot! the ToyWorld one is just too tall for me which is weird to say, but I love the squat bulkiness of the GenerationToy one a lot more!
nothing wrong with liking what you like
What about jin bao
Good comparison. I was all in for TW until the combined mode proportions threw me right off. I do hope they come out with a good V2 giftset with another head and I might consider it.
Shrek Hanson I too would like an alternate head
Toyworld Constructor is going for $400!!
How tall is it
I didn't think there would be such a size difference. Yes the Toyworld's looks impressive, but the GenerationToy's colors look impressive as well. The GenerationToy looks nicely bulkier as well.
agreed
I prefer the size and the toy like gimmicks of the Toy World, but at the same time I find the Generations Constructicons to be more fancy. They do things the original one's (and other third party transformers) don't, have less parts forming, and have more complex and detailed appearance. Now, there IS going to be an updated, and UPSCALED version of the Generations Toy Devastator. That version, may bring out a clear winner.
ko's never win in my book ;)
I wouldn't call it a knock off :P it is perfectly licensed.
Are you talking the Jinbao set?
They both look good in their own way. If I have to pick I for collection I would go with Toyworld in a heart beat. Look more superior due to hieght and more G1 looking
Cool the torso in our country is still not available for nbk
crazy!
Bobby, are you in for FT Devy?
if it really happens, yes
Mann! Lol don't fool yourself..The Generations Toy is superior in every way, the Toy World as a combiner looks like complete Junk. I mean just look at it, the only thing it has is height and that's only because of the parts forming. Great review.
Also the toyworld connector you have to sand the purple piece
JL G for scrapper?
I prefer the generation toys Devastator overall. Toyworld's Devastator looks a bit to off and the head alone bothers the hell out of me. Also Toyworld's Devastator is painted green where there should obviously be another color. The generation toys Devastator looks more anime style.
Their both cool without a doubt. The toyworld devestator looks more like the genuine cartoon devestator.
Generation Toy: They got the color scheme more accurately.
fair points
I like Generation Toy’s Devastator. I’m gonna get the Green Shadow version off of TF Source because it’s the cheapest version because it’s $500 ($499.99). I might buy it after Christmas as a late Christmas present for myself. One plus about the Green Shadow version is that it Clear green which means put a light under it and it will glow like a Christmas tree.
enjoy
Someone needs to make the Constructicons/Devastator out of the big Tonka construction vehicles.
I'm still super impressed with how good Hasbro / Takara's Devy came out at 1/5 the price of these, and nearly Toyworld's height.
youmongrel hey man, if you like it, you win
yeah but look at build quality.... it is 1/5 too
Interesting how these are almost exactly like Giant vs. TFC back in the days. One is smaller, more stylized, one is bigger and simpler looking. I like Toyword being G1 faithful, but part forming kills the deal for me. I just can't imagine the 6 guys going back to base to pick up the parts before forming devastator.
agreed
Sand down the sides of the tabs that connect scrapper to the thigh, this will make the connection easier and give constructor a more streamlined look because scrapper is all the way forward
right, yea, but still worth mentioning :)
VRHyoumaru damnit! I'd probably be in for an idw set also :(
Unfortunately, the only thing around is the PerfectEffect upgrade kits for the HasTak CW/UW Devy which includes the Prowl head.
I am sticking with my CW Devy for now. I know people don't think he is very good but I like him anyway.
Daniel McClung if you like him, you win :)
Unfortunately all of the 3rd party transformers toys are way too expensive
What no Scoria/Grassor comparison? ;-)
Brink of Prime lol
the nice thing about toy world is they can match an mp collection in all three modes better. I can't afford either so I've been using combiner Wars for my mp shelf, other than long haul they work pretty well so I've contemplated toyworld long haul as a robot mode stand in.
Drew C the world is your oyster
Nice
thx
Would have love to see you add Hasbro Devi in this comparison.
Lmao there is no comparison there
Yeah it's garbage compared to these 2.
BPhife unfortunately I don't own him, but his shoulders and bot modes, for me, take him out of the running
Bobby Skullface L
and that rediculous price point
I like the shorter 1, but I always thought that the Transformers should've been miniature. The same size as the Hot Wheels vehicles. The joint shouldn't be click, click, it should be automatically smooth & durable & as flexible like the human body.
i prefer toyworld for the G1 look and its size. the only thing that bothers me is the scoop arm cant be turned around and cleaned up. a minor nitpick but it looks sloppy. otherwise a home run for toyworld. thanks for this!
Frank Marzegliano thanks for watching
if I had the money, it be toy world
gatchaponkei I hear you
I don't own either of these two sets,
I can't speak in terms of build quality (being "toys" this is obviously important) but aesthetically, to me Toyworld hit all the right boxes, at least in terms of a masterpiece collection. the G1-esque styling for not only separate bot modes and their alt modes but also combined mode.
That's an upscaled version of DX9 Hulkie, which is a legends scale Devastator. Completely different figure.
THEWATCHERISLOOKING I want an omega as well!!!
Bobby Skullface L Thankfully We got a Omega now.
