That was a Smart move, always fix it yourself if you can, looks even stronger then the original brackets
It's true, but if the design was proper, you shouldn't have to fix or modify these products

Plateau Fab saved my machine. I rolled mine a few weeks ago and the rad relocate took the hit. You can’t even tell I rolled it. Dan does extremely good welds and uses thick steel.

Sucks to see this after all the money spent . This shop is 10min from me , haven’t dropped a dollar there . I feel the shop gets a lot of support from his buddy’s who are BIGGER names . There is also another shop around here that my buddy took his machine to cause he had a motor issue , they said it was fine and 10min into a ride after of came from the shop motor seized . I don’t go there either now .

It has had a few good tests in the real world now. Seems like it will hold up.
Nice repairs Don, should be much stronger now. When I was looking for a relocate for my ‘18 XMR, I was between the Goodtime Rec, CFab and Plateau Fab, in the end I went with the Plateau and glad I did. That sucker is built like a tank and the radiator profile sits nice and low. I’m ordering another for my ‘22 soon.
Btw- Goodtime never responded to a single inquiry I had when I was shopping, so a lost sale on their end.
I do like the updated version of the Plateau Fab, the earlier version was not to my liking. Still love the look of mine, be so much better if it was equal on both sides!!
Customer service/support is more important than price...
Mine raddled I just put my rad back underneath the bike and the bracket out

Is the factory one better or worse for issues like that?
I have heard mixed reviews on the OEM. Broken bolts and clamps. But its cost effective if you like the look of it with the stock XMR bumper. Personally I'm not a fan of that look but its better than overheating.
Some aftermarket stuff is just shit. SYA is the perfect example of complete garbage.

In my opinion. It’s the assassins. They r great tires but all the vibrations that comes with them suck !!!!
Good point, but I had issues from the beginning even with my Aztexs. The set up (rad relocate) may work fine in Saskatchewan, but in Ontario the trails are usually rocky and bumpy.
Much better job done now everybody I know who has that style rad relocate has same issues don 🦾 strong now
