Thank you for taking part in my thread. I have subbed to your channel. Nice to see The Who on here... quite a clever choice for the number question. Cheers, Darryl.
I think Don Airey composed most of the music for Over the Top. I felt like Cozy was just playing drums on Airey's compositions. I had Unleashed in the East on cassette band in the day. I love that version of Green Manelishi. Good left field choice with Quardrophenia!
yes the CP album was a full-on keyboard-fest. from memory I don't even think there's a drum solo on it!! Unleashed - overdubbed or not, it is a fantastic record. I had Killing Machine (HBFL in the US?) on cassette and probably wore the tape out!
@@carefulwiththataxeeugene-fz2ek I think the album cover for Over the Top was quite suitable. Cozy wasn’t at the drum kit. He was riding around doing stunts on his motorcycle instead.

thanks - glad you enjoyed and great to have you along :-)
I particularly liked the 50th album choice - purely objective and it is what it is!
And again, not a single word about Chubby Checker’s “Let's Twist Again”.
it's a little known fact that this is a little known fact...
@@carefulwiththataxeeugene-fz2ek Haha!!!
Never seen the Cross album, will have to check that out
hi 🙂
it's their second album, a follow up to Shove It! which is also worth seeking out (much easier to get hold of I think)

"And again, not a single word about" the inventor of blugrass Bill Monroe. Suggestion - a Bill Monroe or Chubby Checker thread!
I could do a Bill Checker and Chubby Monroe thread. I've never heard of the others ;-)
@@carefulwiththataxeeugene-fz2ek That’d be awesomeness!! When can we expect to see it??! 😂😂
