Thank you UA-cam algorithm to show me what i love most : solo piano practice of concerto, and Thank YOU Nero for posting this! You got a new follower 👋
The work here is insane, cant imagine the time and energy you put on it. Dont lissen all the poeple to advice you and are incapable to the 1% of what you did Well done, sorry for the english
I learned the first movement to this with the ossia cadenza 20 years ago I think it took me nearly a year before I performed it plus it’s a piece you have to continue to play through or you will lose it but it grows and gets better with time
Very tough piece! In fact that's the piano masterpiece of all time - the endboss. If you train really hard, especially other pieces, I would say you are at least 5 to 7 years away to reach the goal. From the musical point of view, I would even double it. You would need a very good mentor, to ever reach the musical understanding. This should not discourage you, but encourage you that there is a goal that can be reached and many other goals will be reached on the journey. If we talk about playing Rach3 it can only be viewed from a professional point of view. Without professionalism it's like only hammering keys without any purpose and meaning. A hobby climber should never attemp to climb mount everest since many professionals don't even manage to do it. Keep on going!
in the 4th bar you can play left hand like this: 1 2 1 2 2 3 2 3 etc. 5 5 also do you play 21 instead of 16 or 32 notes and do you play in groups of 3 or what
I am aware of your technical challenges. However, I really admire you and think you play beautifully. If I would advise you, it would be for you to perform this at 3/4 tempo rather than full tempo. It is possible to play Rach 3 too fast, even if it is "perfectly" clear. Let's say you were doing this with an orchestra: If you performed this at 3/4 of the speed you are now playing it, it would still be stunning and beautiful. And you would have a better technical mastery. This is not criticism of you. You are a wonderful player! I just PREFER Rach 3 at a slower tempo, even the last movement. You are absolutely able to create a wonderful performance. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)
lol dont believe that dude, he hasnt playedwhat he claims, in 2 years, and without a teacher. that'a only possible if 1: you already played piano before, so you didnt start now. 2: you studied tons of hours, but probably still play the pieces really badly random people on youtube just lie to make you feel bad
the real problem is perform this work on a stage with no score and all the ears waiting your execution in the most difficult parts taking notes off all the details you bring out of this piece or errors or missing notes. the greatest difficulty of rachmaninov music is always the ability to master your emotions playing it on a stage. richter zimermann and many other great pianists have this problem. they perform it in live concerts only a few times. som other like pollini never play this. eveb if they are mastering tremendous pieces like gaspard chopin and liszt etudes petrushka stockhousen
very nice but you need to slow down! your hands arent ready for this type of speed but i do feel bad that you have small hands had they been a bit bigger it would’ve so much easier for you
Great effort but if you slow it down to the slowest speed 0.25 you’ll notice a lot of mistakes - only saying this because it will help you not me - if you want to perform this piece well you have to be self critical and analytical- it’s hard to get rid of mistakes once committed to muscle memory- and as this is played so fast you may not even notice the mistakes but they will become apparent later on if not addressed- think of it as an in depth way of checking your own standards - it will enable you to sharpen up what is already an impressive attempt 👍🏻🥃
Slow down! Your practice should be perfect and it’s far from that. You aren’t anywhere near ready for this speed. You are creating bad muscle memory issues and this will affect your performance later on…slow perfect practice.
Bruh on a piece like this you must do a run through at a reasonable tempo to even see what you need to work on and then practice slowly, this was absolutely necessary and most spots were quite well played, props to her
It was quite well played actually. They could get it concert ready within a couple of months. So nothing wrong with practicing it also at this speed. I also advise you download a midi orchestra and practice with that if you’re not already doing so. It’s a game changer!
Yes please show us all how it's done !! oh wait... why do people who don t have anything to show are always the ones leaving comments of this type...?? Seriously ... This deserves credit, this is such a hard piece. Nice training video, don t pay attention to haters.
@@lucaslorentz You should always start slowly though. Once you can play through a section perfectly at a slow tempo, you can then go faster. That’s the best way for effective practice. Also, if you “practice,” you shouldn’t be going from beginning to end
Get this woman an orchestra 💪🏻
I know the rach 3 is difficult....I didn't know it is this difficult.... I envy your skill and ability
It's one of the most difficult piano concerto
It's probably the hardest piano concerto from standard repertoire, perhaps with the exception of Brahms 2
@@isthatajojoreference149rach 4 is hard as too :p

Why don’t you play a b flat note in the chord 0:14 ?
Good catch! I can’t reach 😂 and no time to roll it
this guy has told us that for any failed recordings, just put practice in front of it and it will be fine>_
악보 링크 좀 보내주세요
잘하시네요~ 나중에 시간날때 한번 쇼팽 피협1번도 도전 해주세요
음 이거 다음엔 베토벤 4번을 할것같아요~
