My Thai friends told me that cosmetic surgery is popular among their rich people and famous celebrities. Whereas, in the Philippines, cosmetic surgery is frowned upon. Although both groups of women in this video are undoubtedly beautiful, I would presume that the majority of the people would prefer natural beauty over "surgical" beauty.

As for complexion, It's an Asian thing to favor fairer skin. It may have to do with the culture or tradition because over the centuries, dark skin is associated with being a slave or a laborer, may be because of their exposure to sun or something, but this is true in most places in Asia (including the Arab world).
Dark skin are not born slave. They were being slaved. But their culture is richer than of that white. Just saying. Adan and Eve are not white. They have complexion like the FILIPINOS.. oh well because ADAN and EVE was made in the PHILIPPINES. And Civilization started in the PHILIPPINES and the colors that are DARK Fair complexions are Asians which in all history are the RICHEST Countries not just in history but also in almost everything. Our wealth was just stolen so as our history. But again as what the BIBLE SAYS Knowledge is increasing. ^^
