Thanks Jeff. Mine is being installed this morning. We can test the connectivity / mesh.
I'm very happy with the SENA SRL Mesh, no complaints at all.
You may use Moto riding ear plugs which have a tiny hole in it , it blocks all the wind blast but lets the music and horn etc get through it 😀👍❤️
Cool idea.
Thanks for the video. Insightful, good to hear that you don’t need to press the button to get Siri. And probably just need to say “Hey Siri”. On my SRL, I have to press the middle button until o hear a double beep, then keep pressing until you get a single beep as well, then let it go and Siri kicks in. Worked every time for me but quite a long press to get there. I’d like a “Hey Siri” instead of pressing buttons. I’ve subscribed to your channel, feel free to return the favour if you think there’s any value in my motorbike/rides videos and other gear I get and review every now and then. Cheers from Australia.
Apologies for missing your comment. I was digging in the backend of my UA-cam channel and found that I have unfortunately missed many comments. Thank you for watching the video and for your comment. I appreciate it. I’m still enjoying my Sena. However, it seems the battery life is getting shorter. I’ve had the battery run out on me a couple times this past month.
Thanks for the review... so the music sound is not that great then?? had tried the Sena 50S and talk was great, but music was very low.
The sound is nice. However I wear ear plugs so I have to turn it up all the way to hear it. If you don’t wear ear plugs or lighter ear plugs than mine the sound will be good.
I have had a first gen SRL in my Neotec 2 for several years and I am not satisfied. I was hoping to find out if the new one is better. The gen 1 speakers are not very good, but you did not address this and did not even play any music. Next the controls are very hard to use on mine, you did not even show us how to use it or comment on it. Once I get it up and going and get the volume set mine is not bad except you can not listen to podcast or audio books because you cannot understand words. This is a very Bad review and did not help me one bit!!!!!!. very disappointed in your reiiew!!!!, sorry to say. Oh you did not even tell us how long the battery life is. I am thinking about Cardo. OH a BIG plus is the SRL looks good.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I just rewatched and have to say can’t disagree with anything you said. However as I mentioned in the video; it was a video on how I use the Sena Mesh and that I would leave it to other UA-camrs to break down all the details. I would just cover the practical uses. Hopefully you found another video that had answers to your questions. In the end, I’m still really happy with the unit and use it every time I ride. Safe journeys!
I can’t understand a thing he is saying so review done
Thanks for attempting to check out the video. Granted audio wasn't great as I was experimenting with a different mic setup, but it is still understandable. At 6:50 in the video I explain the audio setup experiment. However, you most likely didn't get that far into the video...LOL. I did ditch that mic setup right after that video. Please don't judge the entire channel on that one video. I have over 300 other videos on a variety of topics including some cool interviews, bike mods, bike meet ups and rides with friends. Ride safe and enjoy the wind!
@@Texas2Tires that makes total sense. It’s like posting video about a Tesla to make a point about electric cars and during the video I just use a gas powered car. Kudos
