Lots of judo players know those move but they don't know how to teach. You are a good teacher, you know how to explain steps in a way that people understand and you don't waste time telling stories. Most morons would say: "grab the color, like one time I did this to a guy and by accident I pinched his skin, then grab the elbow so now you are in a dancing form like you are on a ball rom floor with a lady dressed in red, and now...." you got the idea. You stick to steps and sequences so the student can stay focused and not distracted from the main info. Thank you very much good teacher.
You should continue to make videos - you have a well established channel and you are great at displaying the fine points of grappling. If you are out of ideas consider: 1) Judo for NoGi/MMA 2) Dealing with special circumstances in Judo 3) Good applications hidden within judo Kata Keep going - you have built a good channel!
Thanks! we've not run out of ideas at all, in fact we have a longer list of content ideas than we have of released content. Our main issue is time, as this is a side project on top of day jobs and our own training, and with job changes and personal circumstances we've not been able to record anything for a while. There should be a small batch of content being released somewhat soon, that has been on the editing table for a while. The channel is still going, and we still have plans for more great content! 👍
I would like to ask for guidance on selecting Tokui-waza. Although I am tall and thin, my legs are short, so I am unsure which move would suit me best. Thank you
I wouldn't feel comfortable doing something like this because I'd have no control over your safety at the other end of video. I don't encourage people to try Judo outside of the supervision of a qualified instructor. Thanks for watching!
It can depend on if they're retreating, moving forward or standing still. With the finish, think of it as bringing the hand that is on their back to where their foot used to be.
The entry for the technique is largely the same, so I'd say it depends more on how comfortable you are with each of the finishes rather than how tall the opponent is.

You need to find out what movements come most naturally to you. It's not really possible to give you a definitive answer without seeing your training.
Sir could you start a free judo class from basic to advance level. I am very intrested in judo. But in my village judo coaching is not available.

In this move when I want to make the opponent off-balanced how did you exactly pulled?😊

Ippon seoi nage or Uchi-makikomi, which one is better against taller opponent?

@@EfficientJudo Okay, thanks for the reply. I feel more comfortable with Uchi-makikomi, even if my sensei does not like it.
Have a nice day! 😀
