- Stormy camp on a flood plain camp the rain got so bad the water come up so fast I left the island for high ground but was still a epic camp I used my dd hammock and cooked some sausage on my spit and did a new bench there to big thanks for watching
Tyson is the best all around camping companion a man could have. I love it when he is looking all sleepy and snuggly under the blankets.

You got a chain saw, a big log and you didn't make a canoe! come on man survival and the dog looks bored stiff but that fire was brilliant and so was the bench!
I did the same with my son on Loch Ken in Scotland, it didn't rain but when we were in the tent at night, I asked my son where he had got all the dry grass from to start the fire, he said it was up in the branches of the small trees that are on the island, we immediately realised the island must flood, he was only 15yrs old at the time, we built up the fire and talked and watched the water level until dawn, we got the tents down and everything bagged up, first light breaking, raining on the loch looked fantastic as we canoed back to the shore, it was a long haul and I then canoed back for the gear towing a canoe, fantastic memories but we were extremely lucky because just up a bit is a big dam that floods the loch and island very quickly!!!
