    What a great little well maintained camping spot.. I was suprised you'd not had vandals spoil it actually because its hard to leave anything alone without some arseholes deciding to spoil it nowadays.

    i love all of the color in this video. so much green and so many lovely wildflowers! your new hammock looks like it is very comfy for you and tyson. the food you cooked looked delicious! i have a couple of questions? how much weight are you carrying when you are fully packed up? also, are ticks a problem where you live? here in mexico they get very bad during the summer and when we have our summer rainy season so i have to have my dogs on a flea and tick medication. thank you for another great video. with love from mexico, patty

    Thanks for showing that willow weave anti-erosion system. Interesting for us Yanks! The images of the flowers and so on are wonderful as well. I came from Western New York State's lilac country. My wife's Grandparents came from Cockermouth. We have visited there. Those 'minty lamb kebabs' reminded me of molecular gastronomy: we have a product branded 'MooGloo' that is a milk enzyme used to bond proteins together. That cylindrical sausage shape seems 'enhanced' by something to hold it all together. Loved the culinary lesson! Many of us have pots 'like' yours...mine are all a bit larger...but I don't take those into the 'woods.'

    Hi Carlisle195! Love your videos - great stuff! Just a word of warning - I've got a set of those stainless steel pots that you use for an oven & cooking. Mine have aluminium rivets keeping the handles on. If yours do too, take care that they don't become brittle or melt due to the use on a fire. Would hate to see those chef hands scalded! I plan to drill mine out & replace with stainless nuts and bolts...

    • @alphapapa3042
      @alphapapa3042 5 років тому +1

      I don't think that they are specifically sold for cooking over fires, but I take your point. In normal stove-top use, they are probably ok. However, Carlisle is is using them in a pretty unconventional way, so thought it best to warn him! I'm a bit risk-averse; they are nice pots, but a drill and some nuts and bolts will make them better...
