To be fair the kitchen team still working after explosions is probably the most realistic part of this movie.
Specially in Miami, not even hurricanes or heat waves would stop those restaurants.

Seagal made some good movies in the 80s and 90s. In the early 2000s though he went down a few notches & never looked back.

Some background on the movie: this film was directed by a Peruvian cinematographer called Luis Llosa. When he announced the film here in Perú, the local media treated him like a god, they said he had made it to the top, he reached Hollywood, he's the best, etc etc. But then he made Anaconda. Yes, THAT Anaconda movie. Now no one cares about him.
Wow. Shows you get no credit for doing a movie about something you know well (anacondas are found in the Amazon, which starts in Peru). I've been to Machu Picchu (closed now due to protests I read).
Apart from the screaming snake I liked Anaconda.

I had a meeega size VHS tape with this, True Lies, Assassins, and Die Hard 3. It was one of my favorites to throw in for a marathon.

People dump on Eric Roberts for his choices of roles later in his career but let's not forget that he was nominated for an academy award when he was younger for The Runaway Train. Also there's one thing that makes him a LEGEND , he doesn't need the money for the garbage movies he's in now. He said he just simply loves to act and will take just about any role he's offered bc it keeps him busy and it's fun for him. To me that's actually really cool, he doesn't see himself as being to Hollywood or unobtainable to work with. It takes guts to not give a fuck in an industry where giving a fuck is ur greatest currency.
