The guy who played BA had the hardest part of all. He was following an icon. So glad they didn't get him to say Pity the Fool and it was just tattooed on his knuckles. This movie has to be watched as the directors cut. It's in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
Unfortunately, turning off an engine for a mere second doesn't reduce its heat signature enough to throw off heat seekers that are already locked onto it.

I never watched the show, I simply felt that as a stand-alone film A-Team was an enjoyable action/comedy with fun character banter. Most adaptations instead suck as adaptations AND even as films on their own.
Perfect coincidence that Sharlto Copely could do that. Also a subtle reference to that episode from the show where Murdock revealed a gonzo headache taught him how to read Chinese.

Rampage Jackson did a good job in this movie. I mean the dude never acted before, just trained MMA and fought, and he made a pretty seamless transition.
I think it was released among top standing movies. Had this movie been released at a different date, it would have done major numbers. Hell, a sequel was in the works until that came to a halt.
There was a space movie when he was a bounty hunter...I dont know the title and the protagonist might be damon or walhberg...I wanted to see that movie
I suddenly want a Murdock series. I mean the rest of the A team can show up occasionally if they want, but it’s really the adventures of Murdock I want to follow. An episode of him pulling off crazy maneuvers in a helicopter, an episode of him just hanging out in a laundromat dishing out crazy wisdom, an episode of him being “sane” and causing all of us to feel a deep sense of pain, etc.
2:30 is a small but beautiful detail that you shouldnt miss. The Green Berets are known for silent professionals. They have been mastering phychological warfare ever since The Vietnam War. Special Op isnt just about sneak in behind the enemies and fuck their assholes. Its more about controlling the area and the people within. Murduk may be a crazy maniac, but he is a ranger after all, and he knows how to 'blend' into other culture.
This movie was great with awesome casting and had a great soundtrack with it, so sad and pissed off we didn't get a sequel or a trilogy with these guys, big opportunity missed

I had a classmate who knew Swahili (it was his first language and he was an international student). He’d never seen this before and Swahili isn’t exactly a common language where we were going to school so when I showed him this scene, he was so surprised and happy. His smile made my day.

All four of 'em were amazing - they really managed to capture the essence of the original team. Whoever did the casting was a genius.
