It was so creepy how cheery the ogres were about the Maw's 'voice' in their heads. I love it. Also the ale/water effects were damn impressive for such a short bit.

I never got the hobgoblin meme. Even dogs of war have a larger roster than a couple of slave units for chaos dwarfs from what i understand. Meanwhile you have two possible, mostly fleshed out factions. Why hobgoblins lmao

Seeing this trailer made my day, Singing ogres and the Biggest Chungus Greasus *chef's kiss*, can't wait to play the game.
What I love most about this trailer is that, in-universe, Ogres are basically meant to be bigger, more dangerous Halflings, and this brief trailer gets that across magnificently.

i am pretty sure the reason they waitied with the ogre reveal until now is probably they wanted the pre order race to be revealed with the rest of the pre-order stuff along with the release date
well they also said that they bring back old characters witch nagash is but they can still use his newest model but an old character

I'm new to Warhammer in general. I love what they did with the ogres from what I know about them. I've never played any of the total war Warhammer games. I'm just going to get all three all at once. Have a long way to go but really like the ogres!!!

Imagine when they release the “mortal empires” for this game that instead of being a traditional campaign map like the past two games, it’s just the warhammer fantasy globe. That’d be sweet

I think the trailer does a good job of detailing the difference between Ogres and Greenskins because it feels almost...familial in way. Like siting down at Thanksgiving with a bunch of family members except they're all boisterous bruisers instead of nagging aunts. I feel like I would want and sit down and join these guys if I wasn't worried about accidentally being squished or committing cannibalism...or accidentally being mistaken for one of the dishes XD Meanwhile I would NEVER sit down at a table with Orcs or Goblins.
I haven’t gone I to ogre lore much, but from what I see here they DO seem like cool guys around each other (even if that one guy hit the other but that could also just be because they are drunk or it’s a cultural thing like with the Orks to best each other up. We see an arena fight right after too). So yeah, I would think they are total bros if you are one of them.
I love that they turned greasus' mode of transportation from being carried by a lavish living carpet, to a Walmart shopper muffintoping on a mark cart, its perfect. Also I'm super excited for skrag, not only because he's a cool character but it also that it means we may get gorgers as well.
They say Ogres get 23 units along with 3 heroes (Hunter, Butcher and Firebelly)
@@davidmaka6742 gorgers would be a monstrous unit probably similar to skin wolves but bigger and maybe slightly smaller unit count.

@@necroplayer97 I doubt they would be unique to skrag, more than likely he’ll have some good buffs for them but iirc in the lore sometimes they would be used as shock troops by normal ogre armies. We’ll just have to wait and see though.
Fantastic way to start the day. As my first ever tabletop army, I have never been so excited for the release of TWW trailer and I was on the same page with ya Sotek with my reaction. Can't wait to rip through Demons, Kislevites and Cathayans alike with a wall of ironguts and stonehorns

I forgot to comment on this video when it came out. I absolutely love the ogre kingdoms. I hope they would do some more for them but for now I look forward to some looting and post battle feasts with my absolute favorite faction in warhammer fantasy.
I'm now looking into more lore as I can find it online, and primarily through this channel. I must say while I'd love the warhammer 3 map to go from altdorf to eastern cathay. They can and probably will expend the main series. case in point Warhammer 2's vortex map has been expended on internally at least. Didn't see much outer expansion though, only in mortal empires. The Orges look like about what I expected from a savage gluttonous race. As a first time seeing much of them I am impressed with the trailer. In game screenshots look fantastic too, I can see the game is a big step up from warhammer 2.

They have Khorngor models in Blood Bowl and they're pretty much dog-faced Gors. I actually do hope we get AoS Khorngor and Pestigor models based off the Blood Bowl designs because I think those are actually quite cool looking.

I really want Ogres to have Halfings as DLC on their roster especially the Hotpot Artillery!
Maybe they can have Fried Chicken catapult and Szechuan Red Pepper cannon. Ogre Kingdoms should have Mage Chefs as heroes who concoct potent food and beverages which increase the combat prowess of the gluttonios ogres.
Those are called ‘Butchers’; they practice Gut Magic, which allows them to channel the power of The Great Maw on the battlefield by ritualistically eating certain things. The most powerful of their number are called ‘Slaughtermasters’.
Maybe they put in a Skink as a shout out to you, Sotek? That way you have both your favorite factions in one trailer!

Dissapointed that Greasus got a generic cart though, was hoping for his gnoblar carriers
counting on what CA has talked about so far in Cathay with its eastern and southern parts, those aren't covered on that map, so that map is likely even bigger than what we are seeing.
I've only just noticed the skink is still wearing its jewellery and trinkets. Though knowing the ogres, they'll probably eat those too...
The map looks like the one in the 1st traiker. It'll be interesting to see if they expand down to the tip of the southlands and lustria, and how that would look on this sort of map.

If you pull the map up on your phone and rotate it clockwise as you move left-right on the map, it makes 1,000% more sense

I see Firebelly on the screenshots. I am pleased. To bad just two starting LLs, but we are getting Skrag, so all is cool.
I got me 40th birthday at early February and I do have high end gaming PC first time in more than decade, so damn that I'm lovin' this. Still remember when Ogre Kingdoms did come to tabletop, I did get that sweet launch box with limited tyrant model. Well, body was same as the normal metal tyrant model, but it had custom gutplate with brace of hand guns, custom head and arms, right with handgun and left with ironfist. Also have both ninja and female maneaters, altought female one I use as Hunter.
One of me favourite factions along with Greenskinz, Skaven, beastmen and Khorne mortals and daemons. If you ask me favourite top 3 it's probably, Greenskinz, Skaven and Ogres!

What I always find funny about people asking for "The End Times" for warhammer total war, is that it already is the End times! The Chaos invasion happens as scripted. You can invade Ulthuan as the Dark Elves and grab the widomaker, Skaven can slaughter Lustria.
They've already added end times units.
So really the only thing they can add from End times is Nagash. But the story of end times is the various characters doing the ritual to bring Nagash back. So they could give a quest line to the undead characters that has similar mechanics to the Widomaker for Elves or the wildwood stuff for wood elves.
And then maybe you get to Summon Nagash as a Lord?
Love that Warhammer 3 is on game pass it opens up the game to so many more people.

The fact the map looks like looking at the top of the globe, would make it easier to expand the map to the left and right and form a globe. Add Dark Elves etc to the left, and new races to the right side.

This does not rule out miniature designs at all.

I also suspect Tzaangors will come eventually. There is nothing about Tzaangors as their new design that ties them explicitly to AoS.

This is why I have been begging CA for years to put Ogre Kingdoms into the game. I play Ogres and Gravelords in Sigmar and played Ogres in WHFB. Love, love, love the big lads. It is such a fun army to play.
