I saw a video on youtube where Lotus Juice talked about rewritting lyrics for the FES version of Mass Destruction, because the original versions lyrics didnt make sense. And he said that for every version of Mass destruction he does, he tries to make new lyrics. Theres some awesome vids here on youtube with a number of different renditions of Mass destruction.
Also, Lotus Juice has said the verse for Mass Destruction heard in the original P3 was him trying to make sense of lyrics that were already pre-written, which he only had 15 minutes to do. According to him, they made no sense whatsoever before his quick revision.

I consider the movie version of Mass destruction to be the best one actually the movie probably has the best version of a lot of songs.
Bro straight up said the lyrics were wack but the beat was fire and freestyled the original and ever since they just let him write the lyrics instead, he also freestyles when he performs it live mans is insane.
Did you notice on the 6:58 mark that after the protagonist throws their music player, he starts to fade away while his team mates' silhouettes are still noticable in the background?

The amount of hype I have for this game is unreal. Managed to order the Aegis edition, took holidays from work just to be fully immersed. After 700 hours of Persona 5 and like 200 of 4 I am ready for the next step man xD It will be the first time with the Persona 3 gang and I am all in for it

The sound you said of the Reload Mass Destruction, honestly I like it more than the guitar in the original, it sounds more powerful and it gives me good vibes and the Oh yeah I like it more in Reload and the new lyrics.

The new "animal squeezing" sound, as you described, (😂) has never been an issue for me when I listen to the new version. I personally prefer the new version, maybe that's because I've listen to the og so much, but I love it. Different isn't bad.

Personally I’m someone who listens to classic and contemporary hiphop from time to time and It doesn’t mind me. Vocals could’ve been louder but still love it overall
@onesaltyboy The only difference with that sound is that it's louder, I think. It's always been there, I guess I noticed it more than most in the original, so it wasn't as jarring.

That "choking" sound in new Mass Destruction is a type of synth bass, I belive. That aside, I'm happy that you didn't hate or give negative feedback on Mrs. Takahashi's perfirmance in the new version of Mass Destruction, which unfortunately happens in this community... I cannot understand these people.

She does such a great job and seems really passionate about it, during the dance performance at tgs she was the one dressed as Yukari
She did fine, it's just the fact that the old songs were sung by someone else, and hearing a different voice sing it in a different manner feels odd.
Maybe if they'd put more harmonies on her lines in the mass destruction, it would sound alot better bc i think its kinda lacking an oomph rn imo 🥲
Overall this game got me super hype! "It's going down now" is one of my favorite persona battle themes! I just can't wait to see how they do the "magnum opus" of persona osts!
I'm loving the new music in Reload and it's remixes are pretty damn good too. I'm sad to think some of my favorite tracks from Portable won't be in it tho. Like Sun or Way of Life. Loved those ones so much.

Color Your Night is my favorite of the new tracks! But with Mass Destruction there are aspects of the original I like better but, overall, I personally like the new one more. It comes down to my own preference but I never liked how the original just repeated the same verse. With Reload I like how they kept the same first verse from the original, just performed slightly differently, but then added a second verse.

I think all the music sounds “softer” than the original, so it does come off as “less punchy” than the original, but as I’ve played through it, it’s “nicer” on the ears for me as compared to what little I heard from the original? That may just be me though.
That sound in mass destruction is an acid bass. Its a cool sound but its mixed too loud i think 😢

They turned Mass Destruction into Last Surprise, which is fucking ass to listen to on repeat. Last Surprise has no fucking impact, Mass Destruction had some. Now it's fucking boring to listen to. Well done Atlus lol
