So you can buy vw "pans" for dune buggies, kit cars etc. the pan is the part with the vin. What you're looking at is a body. Even repaired it couldn't be registered without a previously titled pan.
Except as a homebuilt car. Which you can register.

honestly if its done right and i look at them a lot, i would own a kit car F40 made from a Fierro or a C4 corvette.
they only made so many F40s, i'll never afford a real one and even if i had the money i wouldnt waste it on that, but owning a really nice kit car of the F40 im down for it and the Testarossa are like the only 2 ferrari's id own
