What I want in a headphone (in no particular order): Resolution/Detail, Dynamics, Balance across frequencies, comfort, musicality/fun - I want my head bobbing and foot tapping while enjoying every detail and boom. I enjoy a WOW factor.

1: Comfort. I must enjoy wearing the headphones, or why wear them at all.
2: Sound. For obvious reasons
3: Looks/Aesthetics. This matters, but only if the first two are settled first.

For me it’s a certain sound profile, the functionality and ease of integration with my day to day life, the manufacturer and the ability of that manufacturer to demonstrate a sense of pride in their product as well as provide the education behind the products design and intention. I love a company like Abyss because of this reason. You all take the time to provide a knowledge base within the different aspects of imagining, designing, and creating a headphone.

For me, it's comfort, sound close to number 1 and then the looks. No matter how good sounding a headphone or IEM is, you won't listen to it much if it hurts to use.

Even though I don't know much / anything about audio from a technical perspective, I only know how to listen to music, I always when purchasing any audio product be it a headphone, IEM, Speaker, DAC/AMP or anything audio related I always go by sound quality and my sound profile preference and less about aesthetics, I'm only new to the audiophile scene but I always prefer a good mid-range centric sound, nothing to bassy or trebley, mainly vocal focused. I would love to purchase one of your headphones such as the Diana MR or Dianna TC, Abyss AB-1266 Phi TC but they are way way out of my price range, do you make any mid-fi product headphones for a couple of hundred dollars that sounds good, with good resolution and a good mid-range, they don't have to be the best but decent in these categories, I listen to a lot of 80's hard rock and 80's heavy metal.

Sound, because it is at home at my desk. I don't care about weight, they are all comfortable enough, color doesn't matter, design doesn't matter, looks doesn't matter, technology doesn't matter.
My literal only consideration is sound sound sound. How does it sound. I've demoed hundreds of headphones in the past 20 years. I'm jaded by all the other factors people concern themselves with headphones and speakers.
If it doesn't sound the way I want it to. All the other factors don't matter and I'm not keeping that pair
