Canine Physiotherapy: How to Stretch your dog's hips - useful for hip dysplasia or arthritis

- This canine physiotherapy video explains how to stretch your dogs hips, which may be useful for dog's with conditions like hip dysplasia or osteoarthritis, or following injury or surgery such as a femoral head and neck excision (FHNE) to open up the range of motion in the hip joint, improve flexibility and prevent contractors (shortening of the muscles) from developing.
Manual techniques including passive range of motion and stretches, and also active techniques such as active range of motion exercises and use of cavaletti poles are demonstrated to ensure there is something that every patient can try.
It's always worth checking with your veterinary surgeon/ veterinary physiotherapist before starting any exercise program. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Thank you for this. Not everyone can afford taking their loved beat friend to a vet for physical therapy and this really helps. ❤
i love how grateful this doggy is
I found it hard to find those types of videos on the internet.
Thanks, Doc. My 12-year-old GS with hip dysplasia thanks you, too.
What a good dog.
Thank you for the info!
Was about to do surgery on my dog. Put him on the X-39 patch and it worked wonders. Unbelievable results. YT will not let me say anything else about it . Just look it up . I tried to give more info on it but YT removed everyone. I can not even tell that he has hip dysplasia now.
Is this ok for my small 6lb chihuahua that had his rear right hip ball socket removed?
What's wrong with the AUDIO¿?????
The stretching part of the leg, what to do if it is way to hurtful to do that ?
Omg it’s like you’re whispering!
My chihuahua is going to kill me 💀
😂😂😂
Talk louder, woman!
turn up your volume
Have some respect - she's showing a good technique and it's not like you've paid her money to do it. And yes, turn up your volume. I can hear it all right.
Volume no problem.
