Wdym plot armour or not? This is undeniably plot armour and i love mha but im not gonna blindly defend it. Its extremely flawed. I read the manga and was thinking "finally someone important died to make this battle feel intense" and then hori just ruins everything. He has no balls to kill off important characters and ultimately that's the problem with this whole final arc. Plot armour after plot armour, plot convince after plot convenience. Trying to give spotlight to too many irrelevant side characters. Too long of a battle and everyone survived and not to mention how underwhelming was the last fight with shigaraki.

I'm not trying to down anyone but I never believed he was going to die from the start.
This is such a beautiful scene. My only regret is that the internet spoiled this part when it released in the manga to every corner of the globe. There was no dodging it whether you were a fan of this anime or not. About as bad as the Jujutsu Kaisen leaks have been (particularly about one character which I won’t name but we all know). Because of those who leaked the pages, the impact won’t hit as hard to some people compared to going in blind. That said, Bones did a phenomenal job to elevate this scene to the max to make up for it.
Yeah, there's so many people making videos about stuff much further ahead in the manga that it can spoil the anime. I still enjoy anticipation and surprise 😂 They did do a great job animating this. It really hit hard. Thanks for commenting ✌️

The animation itself is awful. It's all still frames covered by flashy lights and impact frames. There's no actual movement, its just a bunch of slow motion and still frames.

they were really drawing parallels between him and deku hard this episode like how he utilized the sweat glands around his whole body and said how much it hurt like how deku’s first time using full cowling and the pain throughout his body from it
Ok so heres the spoiler to anyone who wants it: Bakugo is barely clinging on to life, his heart exploded when his quirk awakened and while it gave him great strength for a time his body couldnt take it. Edgeshot enters his veins and manually stitches his body back together from the inside to keep him alive at the cost of his own life. This is not the last we see of bakugo in this fight so...spoiler 2: Bakugo is the one who takes down afo.
Remember what Bakugo said at the festival when he was fighting Deku? He said, "I'll keep fighting. I'll break myself. Even if there's nothing left of me, I'll win the way I want to. I'll destroy myself before I accept defeat at your hands."
What’s amazing is that he didn’t get more firepower or bigger explosions, his quirk evolved to make him faster, and keeping up was his last thought before death. Bakugo proves you don’t need OFA or AFO to reach that kinda power if you accept the gifts you’re given and grow them as far as you can

bakugou was never my favorite mostly cause i thought he was overrated and alot MHA fans ruined him for me. But he has been a good character. He had lots of development and became better he fought until the end. This scene makes me really sad because of how soft he was when talking sbout wanting an autograph from All Might as he’s about to die ( 0:52 ) How determined he was to win the fight. How he wanted to become a number one hero but will never happen now.. This caught me by surprise because i always tell myself “its ok the main characters wont die!! They got plot armor!! The show needs them!!” but they got me good this time.. I find it very convient ( *spoilers for demon slayer* ) how bakgou and Genya share the same voice actor and they both die🙂…i was sobbing over Genya and then found out bakugou dies too..and the fact that Genya death is super sad too..(i’m unwell)
It's sad he's gone, but there's no tension in this story. I know the villains are all but invincible and no amount of attacks even does any damage. If villains have to use cheat codes to win, it's bad writing.

You don’t necessarily have to kill a character for the stakes to be high. In the manga Bakugo survives, sure, but he, along with several other Class-A students, is left with scars that will limit his hero career for the rest of his life. Endeavor lost an arm. The rest of the Todoroki family has burns all over them. Hawks is quirkless. Deku is nearly quirkless (again). All Might was on the brink of death, and is probably gonna be All Crippled for the rest of his life. I’d say those were pretty dire consequences of this war arc. Instead of just dying and going to Heaven, the heroes have to live, and they have to live with marks that will never go away. There are some fates more consequential than death
Its kinda sad that Bakugou's quirk can also affect his organs, like he goes all out but his sweat went inside his body which made his heart to expload ( shown in the manga )

Bakugo actually imploded his own heart because instead of just focusing the explosion to his hands his put explosions all around his body
Nah it got actually damaged by Shigaraki, pretty horribly too.
The preview straight up says Bakugo's heart was pierced by Shigaraki. It did not explode.
