Honestly when she lost to Tokoyami in the Tournament arc, that was when I noticed she had a bigger story to tell. You can see in the earlier episodes she's slightly more of a know it all among her classmates and is definitely judging Deku getting voted up alongside her as a representative. Once she really tastes defeat for the first time that shatters a lot of what she thought was probably going to happen. She learned in a similar way to Bakugo "Oh wow, I have a ton of growing to do! Will I even be able to reach those expectations?" She has setbacks and she calculates how to get better, and opens up more with her classmates, even going so far as to BREAKING THE LAW AND SAVING BAKUGO FROM TERRORISTS! She's so complex and wonderful. I love how her character has been developing and transforming into one of the best heroes in the show :)

When Bakugo was defeated by Deku on their first fight, he acknowledged how Yao-momo is right about her deductions on why he lost meaning he knows she is very much capable of things he is not. It just seems that way because Bakugo and Yao-momo’s fighting style are different. Uraraka on the other hand has a slight similarity with Bakugo being that she is also straightforward.
Jeonghan's Maid he had a side conversation with midoriya and all he said about her was “I ended up agreeing with what that ponytail girl said”. That doesn’t give insight to what he thinks of her. And Ururaka is not a “straightforward” fighter like bakugo because her quirk isn’t a power type like bakugo, todoroki, endeavor, deku, etc. Bakugou pretty much attacks head on, Ochako has to plan her attacks out a lot more than he does.
Jeonghan's Maid I just think since she played such a big part in rescuing him that he’d have a scene similar to the one he had with Kirishima (where he used Kaminari to pay Kiri back for the binoculars Kirishima lost during the rescue mission). I can see him not giving thanks to todoroki and midoriya since those are his rivals and Iida annoys him but Momo went out of her way to help them and was vital to him being rescued yet he never really acknowledge it. If you compare all her abilities and achievements along with her involvement in his rescue, I don’t see how/why he hasn’t acknowledged her. No one else (outside of his main rivals) has these impressive feats so it’s just weird that she’s ignored

It's true that Momo has a really innocent view of nudity (which is a problem in its own right with lots of upsetting history of female character exploitation by male creatives) but her costume is not optimally designed to show skin. A sports bra and biker shorts would have done the trick. Actually she's hardly ever used her legs for creation so she could weat leggings if she wanted. Also a sports bra would give her some actual breast support because trust me no teenage girl with F cups is running around without at least 2 sports bras on. I don't hate the idea that Momo's creation is most efficient from the places in her body with the most fat- it's my personal headcanon. Unfortunately Horikoshi is too committed to the girls being sexy to see that very cool concept through because even though she makes stuff by expending lipids she never actually gets any skinnier after a long fight. Deku breaks his arms, Bakugo gets strain, Shoto gets frost, Mineta bleeds, but the girls? They have to stay pretty. Only very recently has any of the girls actually changed their appearance by using their quirk intensely. This whole thing wouldn't be a problem if Horikoshi would just make Momo get skinny and emaciated after long drawn out fights. How she can say she doesn't have any more fat cells left and still have F cups is beyond me.
Reading the comments here made me so happy. I personally relate to Momo a lot and love her so much. But reading a lot of toxic momo comments from the fandom made me think that a lot of ppl hater her and I didn’t know why. It's true that Momo has a really innocent view of nudity (which is a problem in its own right with lots of upsetting history of female character exploitation by male creatives) but her costume is not optimally designed to show skin. A sports bra and biker shorts would have done the trick. Actually she's hardly ever used her legs for creation so she could weat leggings if she wanted. Also a sports bra would give her some actual breast support because trust me no teenage girl with F cups is running around without at least 2 sports bras on. I don't hate the idea that Momo's creation is most efficient from the places in her body with the most fat- it's my personal headcanon. Unfortunately Horikoshi is too committed to the girls being sexy to see that very cool concept through because even though she makes stuff by expending lipids she never actually gets any skinnier after a long fight. Deku breaks his arms, Bakugo gets strain, Shoto gets frost, Mineta bleeds, but the girls? They have to stay pretty. Only very recently has any of the girls actually changed their appearance by using their quirk intensely. This whole thing wouldn't be a problem if Horikoshi would just make Momo get skinny and emaciated after long drawn out fights. How she can say she doesn't have any more fat cells left and still have F cups is beyond me.

Like- obviously she's gorgeous, but she's also just got such a beautiful personality and air of warmth to her that I just adore.
