The new hull graphics are very chic and sophisticated. Bravo to the designer! With the new hatches, windows and placement of important structures, it should be a wonderful home for the next ten years or more. Cannot wait to see the design for the new galley; I'm certain that Ania has been working hard on the plans. Great good luck and thank you for sharing. ❤
Your boat is really starting to look great! Have you considered doing a silicone bottom paint instead of regular antifoul? I hear it works great for boats boats that don't sit very much and have high speed which cleans the hole efficiently efficiently. I hear it works great for boats that don't sit very much and have higher sailing speed which cleans the hull efficiently. Can't wait to see everything finished!
We did consider silicone, but it turned out it is only good for 2-3 seasons according to the manufacturer. Also, we do sit in one place a lot. Hence. ultimately the only real multiseason solution we saw was the hard epoxy Coppercoat. Cheers mate. B

It has obviously escaped me how you decided concerning the new propulsion system. You mentioned in this video that you changed the Yanmar for a Volvo engine (I will never understand how one can do that) is that part of the new system ? Cannot believe how much work is being done to your boat. It's incredible. I guess it must have been one of those "since we're changing this thing we might as well do this as well..." kind of project. Next thing you know the whole boat is being refitted from bow to stern, keel to roof, LOL! Much more time but you'll have a brand new boat. I can't imagine what all of this will cost you in the end. Certainly not as much as a new yacht, but still a _lot_ of dough. Don't recall if you mentioned it in your other videos but what are your plans for the rigging? Will that also be completely new?
I'm curious, what's a main sail cost for your tri, I've been restoring a 41ft 1970 and happen to be shopping for one, on a very slim budget, would be great to repurpose if I could?
We made sailing bags out of the old mainsail. Not sure where you are, but just shipping would have been upwards of few hundred euros even within EU. It's a big sail and heavy. New one costs teen €k

The problem is the 2 years. We try to take the boat out of the water every 5+ years and we found the only option for the time being is Coppercoat.

Rigging is indeed new. The spars have been refurbished. It's all coming up soon back on the channel. Be patient please. Cheers. B

Dlatego nie ma w nich narożników pod kątem 90 stopni tylko zaokrąglone.
