Il130 I bought a mower deck rebuild kit of eBay it turned out to be junk wasted my time and energy and ended up buying from a local John Deere dealer I would definitely recommend to spend the few extra dollars and get a quality parts nice video I wish I have seen it before I worked on my mower 👍
Sweet video. We had to replace one of our spindles after 13 years. Yeah, John Deere doesn't give the 4 bolts with it, you need to get them separately. I need to paint the deck over, since old paint is coming off after 13 years. We in Abbotsford BC finally have a month straight of sunny weather coming. Time to cut the grass.

Yeah, Ryan, I am just West of St. Louis and we should be in the 60's now but instead 45 today but near 80 by Wed. They have a saying in Missouri, "if you don't like the weather, wait a day and it will change".
The bearings are sealed. Unless you use a needle on grease gun and inject it under the rubber seal greasing the nipple on spindle will just keep out moisture and will not reach the bearings. Unless John Deer redesigned the spindles that's how they work.
The grease does get into the sealed bearing when 80 pumps are achieved. You will know your done when it come out of the blade side and top of the spindle. There is a video online where a guy prooved it by using a different color grease. Don’t listen to the know it all’s. 😅
I got 3 new spindles, new belt and new blades (basically a rebuild kit) for $108. Wait the couple days and please don't pay 50 bucks per spindle.spindles. Ebay folks, ebay...
Grease your spindles before you attach them to the deck, at least my grease gun won't reach the grease zerks after they are attached to the deck. I wish my dealer had spindles that cheap, I ordered mine online.
That new spindle with the Zirk fitting means nothing if the bearings inside are sealed. Do more research. For 160 you can buy a rebuild kit and everything is new. Comes with 12 new self tapping screws too.
Replace them all. Good idea. Even though only one failed, when I removed them, all were worn, with wobble.

If the bearings in the spindles don’t have the grease covers removed toward the inside of the spindles that grease zerk is useless.

You can pull the plastic covers off the inside of the bearings so the grease gets in. :D

What is the nut size
The old pulley assembly did not come with a Grace might because it was a selling point to make money

Ebay, get a full rebuild kit for 100 bucks. For the 48" deck.

You have the main tensioner pulley in the wrong place. You ha vegan idler pulley where it should go.
Put it back together just how I took it apart and works with out any issues.
