  • **Please note, I no longer use and cannot recommend Dixie Belle Paint products due to highly questionable business practices, contract violations, and unethical treatment of artists and retailers that led to mine and numerous others resignations in late 2021. Please see the links below for more information. I have chosen to leave this video content up for learning purposes only, but highly recommend considering other products when trying to achieve these same techniques. There are too many good product brands on the market to support a brand with these practices. I've included links to my most used options below

I have NEVER had the urge to paint furniture... I am a watercolor artist... but never wanted to attempt furniture... UNTIL I happened to run across your videos on YT. I am hooked! You make it look so easy and actually enjoyable. I am afraid I will invest in a piece and the paint.. try it and it turns out HORRIBLE.. LOL. But I think I am going to hunt for a small piece of furniture to give it a go!

If you have the artistic tendency, it will come easy for you. Chalk paints are water based and remind me of water colors in a lot of ways

You are so talented! My fiancee and I bought two chest of drawers at the Goodwill and I am painting them for her master bedroom and her guest bedroom which is a beach themed room. Love your work and inspired!

I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Several of them mention your seat and you always explaine it's a broken mechanic stool. Another thing you could use is 1 of those scooters we used to play with in P.E with a cushion. Love LOVE the pink dresser you have on your FB page. You explaine things so well. I hope to paint my 1st peice soon.

So you spray the water on when putting new paint on? Use different brush to dry brush at certain point?

I would love for you to do a start to finish video. Where did you buy the piece, how much did it cost, how much was the product you used, what product & supplies did you use, how much time did it take & how much did you resell it for & how? That would be awesome! Thank you for sharing your talent, knowledge & adorable self!
