My pet peeve with a lot of unit mods is usually they don't retroactively change them to fit with a legendary lords buffs. So you end up feeling a bit bad that you are using a unit your legendary lord dosent buff.
[GLF] Unit Expansion金花兵种拓展 is also very good mod for vanilla unit expansion for all factions. You need an english patch to make to work if your game isnt set to chinese. But imo my fav unit mod. You should give it a try, probably deserves a video too.

Well i haven't checked for every race but oh boy the goblin pack can get quite insane especially with skarsnik , or even worse grom. You recruit them from the cav building (even the Forest infantry) and the lord has a crazy amount of redline buffs for them. You can build a balanced low maintenance army of forest goblins with range and cav support. Onl thing you need to cover is armor piercing damage and you can use trolls or nasty stalkers for that. And btw trolls recruit in one turn now (regular variant)
Really like the Chorf and Norsca units. The Chorfs feel even more like Dwarfs and Greenskins now, but I'm fine with that as that's what the majority of the roster is supposed to feel. Also having the ability to make truly pure Hobgoblin armies with Hobgoblin lords and heroes is very welcome. And Norsca thankfully now has a vast roster of units for some serious variety in their armies.
if you want some even better empire units look for the iron corps pack, these units are monsters on the field, esp the iron corp great swords omg they will last 100 years before they go down, there is also a lord that you can pick up with it as well, enjoy it :)
@@lightbringer1237 GW could obviously also do much more work in that regard. But CA is no completely powerless entity either. We have seen plenty of examples of how far CA can go if they actually want to. From new factions to new lords, heroes or units, the whole shebang.
Did you do a review of SFO and/or victory conditions overhaul? I just passed 800 hours but I am still interested in the lore of warhammer, but that said I'm getting a little bored of "take over your immediate neighbors, sack 80 settlements, you win," but I'm also worried about the game being unrecognizable after

I acutaly wish the weapon variants units for the greenskins could just be in the base game, I honestly wouldn't mind if CA paid the modder to impliment the mod into the base game
i once played against imperium as chaos, i fecking hate helbadiers, in tabel top 3 rows of them can attack at the same time, melting everything including chaoswarrioirs
My problem with any unit mods, is that the AI is already dumb as it is so they start to recruit all of these missed units with no cohesion at all, so it’s easy to stomp out everyone with missed units as most of them they are running garbage armies l, units are great for players though lol
Total war warhammer is becoming stellaris when it comes to greedy DLCs. Trying to play the complete game is going to cost so much money without mods. Hell theres a reason I stopped playing shortly after release. Im finished paying hundreds to have access to the full game.
While you might enjoy the rock-paper-scissors of the base game. Many do not. Alot of us just want MORE types of units so the army doesn't feel like it's just 2-4 different units.
Each to their own. I personally don't play Radious but I run a lot of unit mods and I find the game better. Not a fan of SFO either, which many people think makes the game better.

Radious is very good at making sure their added units are affected by LL buffs
