    Great Bush box. Great cooking.

    Any comparative notes to give about the bush box xl vs the solo stove titan 1800? I see the bush box xl folds flat which is a good thing to save space. But I hear the solo stove creates a good burn due to the air holes. It will burn wet wood easier I hear. Besides any thoughts would help a lot. Thanks and great videos.

      Ross, I haven't tried the titan. The bush box is on the heavy side, I wouldn't recommend it for long distance backpacking. Thanks for watching.

    Cooling the Bushbox in water is not recommended by the manufacturer. It can warp the metal.

    we bad lol !!!! one bushcrafter mentioned that Firebox stoves and other similar stoves are being accepted in national parks instead of the open pit fires I hope this is true.

    I went to a local park where no open fires are allowed. I parked my jeep so nobody could see what I was doing and used my firebox stove and a Trangia burner and made tea. and relaxed for an hour and a half. it's all your fault. tomorrow I will cook some lunch.

    • @CookingOutdoors4You
      @CookingOutdoors4You  8 років тому

      Lol..I have done many fires in places where I was not supposed to :-) just don't tell, we just need to make sure we leave no trace and don't start a forest fire. Thumbs up for you man, I am glad you are enjoying the outdoors.
