Faith Over Fear on your Journey Dear. ❤ I love Rio and the doggies in the vlog!! To me, dogs can sometimes be better than humans. They teach us so much. Unconditional love. I lost my traveling fur buddy to cancer 6 weeks ago and am still grieving his passing... He was very verbal, and such a goofball. Cherish that sweet companion. They leave this earth too soon.
I plan on being a female solo busser once I become certified as a traveling nurse 2-3 years from now. Your videos reassure me that it can be done. I worry about safety and feasibility of doing traveling alone and I love watching your videos. I hope you are happy and well inside and out. Keep it up!
YES! I really like your style of vlog. Very calming and peaceful. Thank you. Sorry I'm late to the party, but I got here. I was waiting for your next video and didn't have the notifications turned on. I was a little worried about you from vlog1. But you seem very healthy and confident. That's excellent. After moving around the country/world, I have found that there is a connection between the characteristics of the landscape and the personality of the local people. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. The desert gets rid of all of the clutter and lets you see from horizon to horizon. Your mind tends to go there too. It also focuses you on the preciousness of life and water. Nothing is more important than experiences and love. Thank you for inviting us along. Stay safe. til next time... ✌ - Mitch L.
Drove through there a couple of yrs ago. that place is a Cesspool of un safeness. lol your totally right to be on your Gaurd. ✌Peace🧡Love🚍Safe Travels and many sunrise to come. 🌈🌈
Every state has both good and bad people. I've lived in Texas my whole life, and I haven't had to deal with non-stop mayhem. Maybe it seems like there are more problems here because the state is so large and you have to cover so much ground to get from one side to the other.
The meetup really warmed my heart and made me smile. I've never felt like I belonged anywhere. That's one of many things I'm hoping to find on the road. Thank you for sharing. 💖

Hi Lu! Thanks so much for being a part of my journey. I'm glad it can resonate with you. I'll be touching more on solo safety in coming videos so be sure to turn your post notifications on. Sending love!
I love your authentic way of showing your state of head as I call it. Since my life and I broke up with each other I need to have other mirrors in my life. Thanks for being one of them.
I just started following you and am on my own journey to road life. Not there yet, but I will be one day. I love what you said about always belonging to yourself. I needed that today. Thank you so much!
Lots of 60-80 year old women RV alone, I do with my kitty. It’s not super easy when mechanics go wrong but seeing Gods gorgeous earth brings healing and tears to my eyes. If I get tired, I stop for a few days, I don’t boondock alone and I bring protection. I’m always parked in a safe location before dark. Hooking up water, sewer, shore power is easy. You can do it! There are several retired RV clubs you can join if you get lonely.
This looks like so much fun! We can't wait to get finished so that we can hang out with everyone. Stay safe and thanks for your videos as they've inspired us. Chris and Steph
Hii! Me again😂 I’m so glad that you got to meet up with the our people and had fun!!! I’m kinda scared to see what’s in the box for next vlog, but I’ll catch you there!!!
I really love love love how you're making these vlogs. They seem like mini documentaries and i'm really looking forward to the next ones. Quality stuff, love it, subscribed!
Precious Alyssa I look so forward to seeing your Instagram posts and thrilled you now have a 2nd video on UA-cam. I used to binge-watch Just Krep moving. If you make it anywhere near Chattanooga, and need anything, just PM me! Blessings. Continue to be the light!
Hey there, your perspective has helped remind me of the value of time “wasted” as youth. I did plenty of road tripping and other “non-essential” activities that i might otherwise regret except that those are the experiences that gave me dimension and character that we can draw on as we get older. Currently my drive is to be able to own a permanent home for my wife and I amd so i spend a lot of time on the road going nowhere in a garbage truck.... Speaking of trucks, ( although I presume Chuck helps you keep tabs on maintenance) I thought I might mention something about oil. Having driven and worked on many a hardworking truck, including a small 7.3 powerstroke powered garbage truck, I have found that if your engine can go a couple thousand miles without burning or even leaking oil and then afterwards starts using a measureable amount every several hundred or so that oil consumption will indicate that your oil should be changed soon. Driving conditions should used to determine oil change interval as well, as opposed to going by mileage alone. Summer heat will cause the oil to break down a little sooner and etc. Also, in case you weren’t aware, the 7.3 uses engine oil to operate the injectors, making oil change interval more pertinent. Happy trails.
Oh man Oregon is always calling my name! My favorite place....I wouldn't be surprised if I find myself back there sometime this year. So hard to stay away!
Just found ur videos today,an I really enjoy them.i spend my days alone now that I'm retired an so I love these types of video, ild love to travel if I was younger
Hey this is the woman with the bus called Lucky 🤔?? She’s kool !!🌸❣️one day I’ll be on the Road too , I live in a small room now I just need the wheels and I’ll be good to go simple life💯💯
Beautiful countryside. We wanted to do this upon retiring but being from the Northeast, the lack of greenery would wear on us, I think. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Hi Ms..Alyssa! Live your videos! I'm concerned you traveling alone. Wonder if some pepper spray or a gun for safety would be wise? You are very beautiful 😍. More videos please? Take care you and Rio
I once had business just outside of Carlsbad, NM. Had to make a road trip out of it. I had to make my way through Roswell (aliens), made an underground tour of the Carlsbad Caverns, then made my way to Las Cruces, and had to see the White Sands--A road trip most are not willing to take. Great video.
Great video to let you know even though I'm 6 foot 280 pounds have a concealed weapon permit when I go on the road I'm still gonna be really nervous about being safe even with Bella in the bus because of the way the world is nowadays all I can say is stay safe stay strong stay healthy god bless and enjoy life and watch your back🌹✌💖💪👏👨🍳🎅🚌🌈👍

Well young lady..... Truthfully, it sounds like you are trying to talk yourself into Loving your new freedom, rather than actually being there. Stop that. Be kind to yourself and be OK with it being a journey that really only comes with experience(s). Best part is when you accumulate all the ingredients that the experiences will bring you, it will happen without stressing over it and you'll be a different person with much better ability to make better decisions through the winding roads.... And more confidently. Always pay attention to your situational awareness until that becomes automatic, along with all the other positive tools on your belt acquired on the winding road. That experience will also help you arrive at what you really want from life and how to go about making it all fall into place using healthy beliefs, healthy attitudes and the help of The Universe, that pays attention to healthy lifestyles and rewards. Hopefully without much drama and negativity. Send postcards!
Hi Alyssa, I sincerely hope that you are not posting these videos as you go along, because I worry for your safety. I have seen other female van/bus vloggers who drive vehicles that are sometimes very recognizable, and it makes me wonder if they should maybe chose something that blends in more or has a more analogous look to their van or bus. I really love your positive attitude and energy, and I am glad you have Rio to keep you company. :)
