at this point, my devotion to unlocking master on hard songs has made project sekai into an addiction.

If you run out of area convos, you should read (or just skip) the event stories they unlock new convos so you keep getting 10 crystals!

Almost Rank 200 here and been playing for a year almost! I also have grinded over 60000 crystals before. Also this is more of a crystal grinding guide just because a major pull of this game is the gacha and F2P players may struggle gathering more gems than those who do spend.
Challenge shows and Character Ranks are the most important thing, imo, for grinding crystals. I'd suggest getting your characters to at least Character Rank 13 to have two extra slots for challenge shows, so you can reap even more rewards from playing the shows in one sitting. Just focus on getting at least 3 fully leveled up good cards (recommended 3 star and above for better scores) and you should get a lot!
I'd also suggest that if you have a character you really like to look ahead at the JPN server if you play in EN, as they are a complete year ahead of us, and that will show you what cards are going to come out. Because preparation in this game is key! So, for example, I'm a huge Mizuki fan, and I plan on getting at least all of their lim cards. So I look ahead to see when their events are happening and then make a schedule for pulling!
But why save up all of these crystals, you ask? Well, if you pull 300 times (90,000 crystals), then you can spark or automatically get a 4 star off the banner. However, if you do 10 10 pulls on another limited banner, you can get tickets to reduce this amount to 200 pulls. I have around 21 so I have enough for two cards of my choosing, as long as I adequately prepare! And trust me, prep is so important if you really want a 4 star because this gacha can be incredibly unforgiving. For Hermit Mizuki, I pulled 120 times before getting a four star. These things can happen. So that's why saving is really important!
Anyways, I hope this helps someone if they happen to find this video!

Ok so I think you forgot to add "getting a specific amount of combo gives you rewards which are coins or crystals" and reaction time is important for improving too :)

Interesting fact from someone who plays both jp and eng sekai.
In jp sekai you get rewards much faster. For example character rank. In jp sekai I already have everyone at rank 10 even though I've been only playing for around 2-3 weeks (40 rank), while in eng sekai I still have chars at rank 5 though I've been playing for ~6 months (128 rank).
But jp sekai is less rewarding in events (like coins for cards and other rewards)

Btw, I can give advice too. Play harder songs even if it's hard for you. Like if you are underexperienced when starting game, try playing hard. You will fail but it will help you improve. Same goes for starting your first expert song. Go for lvl 22 or 24. Get used to notes and good luck.

Oh, and about speed. Don't rush it. If 11 is too fast for you, play at lower speed. If you start feeling like this speed is too slow for you, increase it a little bit.

    • @tenmatsukasastar
      @tenmatsukasastar Рік тому +2

Event stories in eng sekai give you 1 ticket for each, while jp gives you 2. Good to know, right?
Also don't forget to participate in after event shows, they give you 300 crystals if you will get there on time. You don't even have to stay until the end for the rewards.
There are too many advices I could give. I'll stop comment spamming now. Sorry lmao

I think the reason your character ranks on eng are so low is because on eng there are actually less things that give you character rank experience. Like rn in jp you get experience from area items and song solos but you don't get that in eng.

    There's an app called Sonolus.
You can adjust the speed of the song and repeat parts you're bad at.
