  • After getting into our new house I was trying to remove weeds out the yard by hand. That wasn't very forgiving on my back lol. So, I picked up the Weasel Weedpopper by Garden Weasel and it made the job so easy.
It is a very sturdy tool to remove weeds and save your back caring for your lawn. A must have to help your lawn stay weed free.
Very simple to use in your lawn. All you do is center it up and use the foot press to push the Weedpopper down in the ground centered with the weed. Give it a twist and pull the weed up effortlessly out of your lawn. Then press the weed ejector to push the clump of weed out and that's it. Fill in the hole it has with some soil and move on to the next.
Weed removal is always a pain to keep your lawn looking great and with the right tools it can help stop the pain of weed removal.

I pulled off that top metal "holder" clip by accident. I thought it was supposed to come off! hilarious. I'll go find it and put it back on.

I've done that before with other tools. I usually throw some random clip or piece of plastic to the side and realize later on it was important 😂

@@travisfloyd7183 I just did a WeedPopper session - it's a good arm workout. Probably pulled 200 weeds. Glad you didn't get the Fiskars as the plastic breaks. Fiskars seems to be more about marketing. The Weedpopper - I traced it back to 25 years ago - so I think it's the original design.

Would this work well for Virginia buttonweed?

That weed looks like what Iowa farmers out here call "beggar's lice." They are insipid, insidious, noxious AND nauseous! BTW, where can I get me a pair of gardening shoes like those, lol.

+The Root very harsh words for the weed but I do agree and thank you for the info. Those are my lazy weekend shoes lol.

@@travisfloyd7183 Nice - thanks!! I missed one pre-emergent treatment and my lawn is swimming in the stuff. Will try the weed puller to get at least some of them off.

It looks like you have a lot more trouble with your lawn than just weeds.
