    WOW!!! I spent the day using mine today to loosen my hard soil and till amendment into my new garden beds. I couldn’t believe how awesome it was. Didn’t even occur to me how great it will be to pull weeds, since my beds are bare dirt with no weeds currently. This is my new favorite garden tool - I don’t think I’ll ever go without it.

      I imagine between that and a broad fork you could bust up some dirt pretty good!

    I just bought one for clay mix now I'm reading review that its made from cheap castings and break easily...I will come back after I test it today.

      I have not broken mine yet. I think my brother in law broke his, but it may have been run over. Hope yours holds up!

    Thanks, Hoss... I was on the fence, now I’m not... I’m gonna get one for our little flower garden in our apartment building... Have a great day!

      My son even uses this thing to pull random weeds in the yard...mainly thistle. Quite handy

      @@UncleHoss FANTASTIC! Thanks... I'm a former Colorado Girl living in Hollywood CA and I've been thinking about getting one for a while... Your video made me laugh (NO BENDING OVER, LOL!) and made me feel sure, so I'll try to use the link (if you get a little kick back, LOL)! Thanks again! Take care out there in the country & I'll do the same in the city! :)

    a lever on the handle that would move the claw in and out. and ditch the adjusting claws cause it would be self adjusting. and clean out the dirt. dang it,now they know how to fix it cause their watching this. good job again in the vid

      there definitely has to be a better way to adjust them. Having to unscrew them every time is a pain. We will see if they ever comment on this video lol.

    Corona made a version of this the soil slayer. Has plunger yet claws are not adjustable

    That's as soft a ground as you can get.........................looks like mud..........................try it in very dry clay..........the "claws" will bend/break.

    Will you get 'bucked off' if you use that little step to push it into the soil?

    • @UncleHoss
      @UncleHoss  6 років тому

      Rocks Corner it twists pretty easy but I am sure you could step on it to get it in a little easier. It does have a built in place for your foot

      I used it to plant my peppers last night. It really is a handy tool. It will cut a hole in existing turf, but you have to muscle it pretty good.
