How to make a mala and a tassel with embroidery floss.

There are a few ways to craft a mala. I am knotting using .5 mm cording pink. wood rhodonite from @tejasbeads @beadalon needle collapsible needle 
Directions:
Start by selecting your first bead & threading it onto the cord. Tie a knot up against the top of the stone. Knot again over the previous knot. Continue adding beads 1x1.
You have two options: knotting between each bead or using spacer beads. I am knotting on this one.
Once you have strung all the main beads onto the cord, you can add counter beads at specific intervals if you wish. These counter beads can be used for meditation purposes.
To finish off your mala necklace bring both strands together tie in one knot. If you’re adding a single Bead as a guru Bead. In this case, I’m using a matching ceramic bead, & I’m bringing the strands through the center of the ceramic bead and attaching a tassel.. If you are using a guru bead you will need to put each side of the mala strands through the center of the bead & have it come down through the middle of the Bead & then attach a tassel.
To create a tassel, I am using floss.
Open your floss in the center and tie the two strands from each side of the mala into a knot around the floss. Trim off excess cording. Fold the floss back top to bottom & have the knot hide in the center. Take a second piece of floss & tie around the top of the floss and tie a knot. Trim off excess floss. You now have a tassel.
