    I've just posted the next video in this series, where I show you how to add tiny crochet leaves & flowers to this necklace: ua-cam.com/video/5l35zeUXBUQ/v-deo.html

      At first I did not realize they were crocheted
      I just had cataract surgery so it's kind of blurry . Those are sweet though.

    Some days I'm thankful for what the YT algorithm puts in my feed, and this is one of those days. Thank you for this great video. You had me with this video, and then I saw the title about Where are all the weird craft channels? and I knew it was right. ❤️

    This would be so cool mixed with paper beads too. That's what I'm going to try.

    Thank you so much for this video!! I have very sensitive skin too, and it's a real problem for me, because I like to wear necklaces. You're my savior! ❤❤❤

    Thank you so much for the inspiration. I put a little coconut shell flower button at the joining ends. It's pretty and somewhere to finish the ends under. ❤

    Years ago (I'm 84.), the steel hooks were for cotton thread, and the lettered hooks were for yarn.

    So I absolutely love your video and so happy that I came across it. I did purchase some number 10 crochet thread via Amazon because I live on an island in Alaska. I feel like my thread looks so much thinner than yours. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m hoping that it works out. Your stuff is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this art with us.

      Well, I under charged a little since a) my main gig was clothing, I made them to match my colors, and b) I only made them while working my booth… $20 or 2/30, for the 48” length. 🙌🏼🧜🏼‍♀️

    How do you get the crochet thread to be so smooth? Every time I attempt a beaded crochet necklace the chain ends up being twisted and kinky. Thank you.

    • @bohemianmermaid
      @bohemianmermaid  11 днів тому +1

      Yes, good question. I pull the chain taut a few times, that helps a lot. You can pull hard, it’s very strong. Also the weight of the larger beads makes it hang nicely vs using just tiny ones. Good luck! 💜🧜🏼‍♀️

    Do you happen to have a tutorial of an open necklace that you can just wrap around for several layers or just cross tie on? My mother used to make them when i was younger using gold thread and i would love to try them.

    Do you do a sample of the pattern you want to make ? Then multiple that for the length you want ?
    I think that would be the smartest way for myself. I just could not figure it without doing a stitch first. My brain doesn't work that well at figuring out how to get the length. Thank you for all your help with making these . Do you try to get the beads to stay all on one side ? 😊

    • @bohemianmermaid
      @bohemianmermaid  Рік тому +1

      Yes exactly! I mention that in the video. The beads naturally set themselves on the back of the chain. Thanks for hanging out 🙌🏼💜💜🧜🏼‍♀️
