That was an awesome tour of the store! I've always wondered what I looked like, how each of the sections were laid out etc. Thanks for showing us around!! Love the new rental cover, looks prestigious.
Keep up the great content. Best show on Friday. Aguirre, the Wrath of God- Just recently rewatched this movie & can only imagine how the hell it got made. All Cinema forever
Amazing news on the Severin Russ Meyer. I had most of his stuff on laserdisc back in the day. Last thing I bought from Severin was the excellent Black Emmanuelle boxset, but Meyer will be mine.
Fave kinski film is the great silence. The darkest, bleakest, most haunting spaghetti western. I also happen to love the snow aesthetic in films so to have a western in the snow is fantastic. I have the poster in my office !
My favorite Kinski film is My Best Fiend the documentary by Werner Herzog. The madness on display is incredible to behold and both Kinski and Herzog’s plans to kill each other is gripping stuff.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour around the video store. I’d love to have Snips as my local rental place, the only problem is I’d have a severe case of choice paralysis! As for Kinski, my favourite movie has to be The Great Silence. I think it’s one of the finest spaghetti westerns, the wintery setting is great, and Kinski plays an ice cold madman so well. I’m sure it tested his acting ability…
My favourite Klaus Kinski film is The Great Silence. I'm a big fan of spaghetti westerns in general, but the wintry setting really elevates the film to a different level.
My favourite Klaus Kinski film is Nosferatu The Vampyre, mainly because Kinski is terrifying as Dracula and the haunting score is one of the creepiest ever. An amazing, otherworldly movie with a central performance that is just mesmerising. - Chris
My favorite film that has Klaus Kinski in it ... Per qualche dollaro in più / For a Few Dollars More (1965) Why? Because I love westerns and this is on of the best IMO.
@@terryuller2479 They're 30 years old in all honesty. Back in the day there were a number of businesses around the country which specialised in video store themed supplies. Things like blank membership forms, BBFC overstickers, cases, signage etc. Obviously they're all long gone now. If someone nicked my box of 'on loan' tags tomorrow, they would be impossible to replace!
These videos have become my Friday night ritual. Don't know what I'd do if you missed a week haha
Totally agree, it’s like having a programme to look forward too in the 80s ✌️
Same!

City Of Hope on bluray? I'd rent that!
@@danielturner8740 Impeccable taste Mr. Turner!
Favourite Kinski film is 'And God Said to Cain' because a movie with Kinski mixed with spaghetti western vengeance makes a great double act.

Shotgun Stories is a masterpiece. And nobody has seen it.
It just came out on blu-ray.
@@gudmundursturluson7683 Nice!! I'll try and find out if it's UK friendly.

Hi Dave , where do you get the film on loan tags ? I’m guessing you have them made ? Store looks great btw.
