Does it look like an hourglass? Are you playing the game on a cartridge that has multiple games on it, like 250-in-1 for example? People who made multicarts tend to change or erase company logos. Like the Taito triangle in this case.

Played this game when i was 7 or 8 yo with my father, now i am 39 yo, love this game, want to go back to my childhood

Another fantastic puzzler from Taito for the NES is Puzznic, also you may check Adventures of Lolo, the best of the genre in my opinion.

Bravo 。当時は主旨がよく分からなかったのだが、重複しないブロック種が残るように消していけばいいと分かりました。いや〜、懐かしい。このゲームのBGMを聴くと従姉妹の家で実施した当時の記憶が思い起こされる。エンディング初めて見た。昔のゲームってプレイする労力に力点を置いててエンディングにはあまり力入れない傾向にあると実感した。
