    Your videos don't need "real" photos or videos of your devices! You name your goods, that's enough. The graphics are simple and outstanding - never seen such on other channels! Thank you!

    I really like the honesty and the statement of process. Sonic success in the audio field is the result of process, not AB testing everything ever produced. Your channel goals are what I enjoy most about UA-cam.

    Very wise words, Hans - thank-you for all your very objective and information-packed hi-fi component reviews you upload on your YT Channel. I'm a "less bells & whistles" hi-fi enthusiast; i.e. How the component sounds *to my ears* is the most important factor for me. Thank-you again for all your great work! (P. in Japan, ex-Scotland)

      Tomorrow I’ll get my A25 integrated amp and the CD5 CD player. I think I can stack them on top of each other. Would the CD5 sit on top of the A25 amplifier?

    Yes, there is a great curiosity about the listening room for the set up 1, which is quite normal as most of reviews share that space. Srajan from 6moons comes to mind. One has to assume the room has great acoustics as you're able to identify significant differences between DACs and network switches. Keep on the great educational videos!

    I am so pleased that you mentioned the subject of measurements. Although I understand the arguments presented by those with an engineering or scientific background, how can anyone be 100% certain that everything is measurable? For me, it’s how a product sounds that is more important.
    With regard to buying advice, choosing components is very subjective and there is no substitute for listening to a component before deciding whether or not it will work in a system. I realise that this is becoming more difficult for some people given that the number of retailers with physical stores is dwindling.

    Hans , I recently acquired a power conditioner and to say it was a component level upgrade would be an understatement. My rack is located in a space constrained room and as such , power cords through multiple power strips , spaghetti of interconnects plus WiFi routers all contribute to RF noise. I didn’t realize this “noise” until I bought the power conditioner and now with clean power ,the soundstage, bass and separation improvements are breathtakingly noticeable! Perhaps other viewers are in the same environment are experiencing the same.

    This reflects exactly my thinking. Theory is just theory. The biggest factor in the hifi chain is the carbon-based lifeform listening.

    The most likely explanation I can think of for a network switch affecting audio would be high frequency signals travelling through a ground loop from a switching power supply of the switch to the power supply of the streamer or amplifier. I wonder if there is a way to test that, or whether power filtering could make the impact of the network switch lower.

    Dear Hans,
    In an older video you said that when your setup evolves, you will get less room acoustics problems. But I totally forgot your motivation about this, do you know what I mean?

    • @TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel
      @TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel  5 місяців тому +1

      The better the equipment, the easier it is for the ears to distinguish between the sound from the stereo and the sound from the room. So the acoustic problems are easier negated by your auditory system.

    Graag zou ik van u willen weten nav uw video over streamers in combinatie met externe dac of u ook de invloed van de dac filters beoordeeld. En eventueel hier dieper op wil in gaan. Bijv. Snelle of langzame roll of etc. Dit vraag ik u omdat mijn Wiim / topping combo daar een duidelijke verandering in geluidskwaliteit opleverde. Bij voorbaat mijn dank.

    Hans, love the channel but want to say that there are women who are true audiophiles (e.g. seeking to optimize audio equipment to produce the best sounding music in order to elicit emotional response). I know because I am one :) I understand that there are not many of us compared to men but we exist !

    • @TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel
      @TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel  5 місяців тому +1

      I never denied the existence of audiophile women. They are there, but in small numbers regrettably. My loosely wife isn't one of them but she loves music and let's me take Kare of the technical stuff. One doesn't choose to be an audiophile, some are just so lucky to be one😁.

    “Room correction for true high end set ups, just doesn’t cut it”. That’s my experience exactly and the sentiments I’ve expressed in the comments to other reviewers. Each time being slated with a deluge of vicious responses from the reviewer and many of the reviewer’s subscribers. Your comment that “put 3 audiophiles in a room, you’ll get 4 opposing opinions” is so relevant. That’s absolutely fine, positive even. Providing other people’s opinions are not vindictively ridiculed simply because it differs from their own. Another excellent video Hans!
    Most of all, enjoy the music.

    Hello Mr. Beekhuyzen! Your channel is one of the best, especially regarding the new streaming technology. I would love to know how did NAD C316 BEE end up in your reference system number 3? What was the technical consideration for you to choose this NAD and not a Rotel A 11 Tribut or an Atoll IN 50 signature or even an AUDIOLAB 6000A or even Denon PMA600NE? Thank you!

    There are a few things I've learned over the years, graphs and charts only tell you part of the story, your ears are the most important factor, we all hear differently and just like genres of music our ears will prefer one type of tone over another, Elite audio blind tested 10 DAC's the cheapest around 500 to one costing 3,000 British pounds, the more expensive DAC's finished in the top half of the table the cheapest in the bottom, but what fascinated me the most was that every single DAC somebody had voted for it, so the £500 model sounded better to somebody than the £3,000 DAC, it just goes to show what we hear is is the best judge, thank you Hans I bought a piece of HI FI on your review, the Eversolo Master edition, it sounds Wonderfull, so much so my HI FI journey is over, for now anyway, thanks for your great advice, I'll always be great full.

    Thank you very much Hans, for your work and for helping us to better understand everything related to audio, especially the digital aspect. I watch your videos every week with great attention, trying to learn as much as possible from the information you provide.
    Last year I bought an SBooster to connect to the ifi Zen Stream, after seeing your review on the last model that came out and it was one of the best purchases I made in terms of audio. I have to thank you for that.
    I would really like to see your review of the ifi Neo Sream, because as the Zen Stream is a product with sound quality well above its price, I imagine that the Neo Stream can compete with higher-end products.

    • @PauloFerreira-hh6zv
      @PauloFerreira-hh6zv 5 місяців тому

      No problem, I suspected it wouldn't be easy. It's a shame, because together with the streamer, there is a network filter to connect to the Neo Stream via a fiber cable instead of the normal network cable. It would be interesting to review too.
