Let’s be honest. Canada’s BEST city. Not “one of”. Hands down. And I’m not even from BC. I don’t want to hear crying about prices either, I’m well aware. It’s still the BEST city in Canada. Period. Thank you.
@@ManhattanProject9 The sea to sky gondala is good and fun but also is a 1-2 hour drive from downtown. Simular things that are closer to the city are Cypress, Grouse and Seymour. And dont go to kits beach since it is packed instead got to Jerico beach witch is very simular. Ask me for more places.
If you have a day to spare (and a car), I suggest packing a lunch and go nature exploring. Start at the Lynn Canyon Bridge (a free suspension bridge), then drive to Cleveland Dam. At the dam, walk down to salmon hatchery. If the timing is right, then you can even see the salmon spawn. If you're feeling energetic, the Grouse Grind is not far away. After that, drive on to Horseshoe Bay and explore a bit. The scenery is gorgeous. Then head north to Porteau Cove for more views. Shannon Falls is next and if Grouse Grind wasn't enough, you can hike up the Chief. (about 3+ hours). Finally, drive up to Tantalus lookout, then turn around and drive back to Vancouver. (or you can drive on to Whistler) Try to time it so you can make it to the Quercus point in Murrin Provincial Park in time for sunset. The hike up there is pretty easy, takes about 30 minutes. So if sunset is 7, get started on the hike at 6pm. IMO, best sunset ever. Bring a flashlight because it'll be dark going down.
Vancouver is even more beautiful between : -march 23 and April 14. This is our cherry blossoms season with CB festivals and thousands of cherry blossoms in downtown. -July 25-Aug 3 where thousands of us go to the beach and watch fireworks from different countries -oct where the maple leaves turns bright red and orange.
This was one of the best travel videos I've seen. I watch lots of them whenever we travel. I especially liked that you showed the destinations of each place on the map before describing it. I really appreciate the helpful hints at the end. Thanks for all the great places to see in Vancouver.
I've never been to Vancouver or even Canada for that matter but Vancouver is definitely on my list. That steam clock in Gastown was super cool! I've never been whale watching either. I get so excited whenever I see 🐬dolphins so I'm sure I would be ecstatic to see a 🐋whale! 🐪🧭🌎

In the past few months I have been watching videos about moving to Australia I came across this masterpiece I have to admit that you guys do things on a completely different level what a wonderful way to explain about the city I’m amazed that Vancouver is actually one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever seen and thinking to visit and maybe move there thanks again and keep up the good work ❤
I went to visited Canada when I was 1 year old, I don't remember everything. Also, I went to visited Canada in early September 2012. I live in United States, Washington.
Most of the provincial parks close to Vancouver require reservations they are free to book online at the BC Parks website but they fill up fast and spots are limited
September is generally still a good time! That’s when we visited as well. You won’t spot any wild grizzlies in the city. But you might encounter some black bears in the nature areas around the city
I want to visit, but im terrified. Can anyone please clear uo what the drug issue is in Vancouver right now? Ive seen its progressively getting much worse. What are some advices before going? What places are safe to visit and which should i avoid? Is the drug problem as bad as what is being projected through social media, or is it only in one certain location? Thank you for your patience and answers.
We were just there in September and didn't have any issues. Just make sure to avoid the sketchy areas (link is in the description below our video to an article with all the areas mentioned). As long as you're not taking part in the drug abuse / scene, it shouldn't be a worry. And that counts for any major city around the world
Vancouver is a rainy city from October to April ..... more than 1,200 ml in November .... poor night life , capital of homeless, drugs and crimes .... 50 % asian , no Canadian culture
@jeanbolduc5818 The east is far colder and snowier in those months, even in the USA. The rain is minor and it varies for the other 7 months and hardly rains July to September lately. Night life is also depending on you, because Canadian culture is there if you look. I’ve been across Canada to compare.

Too bad vancouver has turned into a congested dump. It used to be a nice city. Nowadays, you can't even see the sun (never mind the mountains) because of the ugly tall buildings. Meanwhile, crime and homeless are out of control. The people in Vancouver live like pigs and send their garbage elsewhere and water is becoming a scarce resource. But when compared to a lot of USA cities, it's probably OK, but most real Canadians have higher standards.
I have been to Vancouver and Vancouver Island recently and I was trravveling alone.... It was incredibly beautiful!!
