He would've done it with or without you watching. You were just lucky enough to be there to witness the process and be entertained by it.

    I think that he started out beginning to imply that Mosley was an underdog, and then decided to switch gears and put the fighters on an equal level. He was gonna do something like "Shane Mosley knows how important this fight is. This is a real big opportunity for him." And then thought he would be selling it better if he didn't imply that there was a clear favorite.

    Idk why I got recommended this now, after 10 years of it being uploaded, but this is NOT brain damage nor CTE, or anything close. It’s all the more evident when he shakes his head and says “I’m sorr-“ you can tell he’s nervous and him shaking it off tells us he’s aware of his mistake. Something people with brain damage wouldn’t even realize

    No slurred speech, no stuttering that manifested after his boxing career. I think when a camera man is pointing his camera at you & there's another producer with a 6ft microphone above your head & you're cognizant of the fact that you're possibly on live TV with millions of viewers then this does not rise to level someone being brain damaged. Heck, I used to have retake my recorded message for my voicemail 3 times before saving it because of that same thought-delay. Now we just let factory voicemail do it for us. So I can only imagine live television

      He was just lucky to catch RJJ on the tail end of his career. Roy shouldn't have pushed himself so hard going up and down the weight classes the way he did. I believe that shortened his lifespan a lot.

    • @KrazeeClark
      @KrazeeClark 10 років тому +5

      oakcliff42 There's not question about that. The quick water weight loss before a fight is one thing. I think it's another to manipulate your "true" weight in order to box. That's my opinion anyway.
