Zap away the summer heat as you plunge your mind into this refreshing summer special fruit drink, Virgin Pina Colada.
'Pina' means Pineapple and 'Colada' means strained, thus 'Pina Colada' is a refreshing, strained pineapple drink. This tropical fruit drink has in it the sweetness of coconut milk blending with the sourness of the pineapple fruit. Virgin Pina Colada has been the official beverage of Puerto Rico since 1978. Chef Ruchi Bharani brings you the alcohol-free recipe of this legendary rum-based drink.
Ingredients:
2 cups pineapple juice
2 tbsp. dehydrated coconut milk powder
1 cup vanilla ice-cream
Few Ice Cubes
Method:
- Add 2 cups of pineapple juice, 2 tbsp. dehydrated coconut milk powder, 1 cup of vanilla ice-cream and a few ice cubes in a jar and blend it.
- Pour the drink in a glass and your Virgin Pina Colada is ready to be served.

grandma makes virgin pina colada cupcakes! she used pineapples for the cupcakes themselves, and the frosting was reused from the last time she used it, and she has coconut flakes so she mixed the flakes into the frosting to give the cupcakes an pina colada-like taste!

Maybe..I'm not sure 'bout it...you can try out using the dryer coconut..which you can get in any grocery store..or Walmart and blend it in the blender

Again with you and the ignorance you don't have to call it virgin piña colada or non alcoholic one cause the real name is plain piña colada. The original one doesn't have alcohol included. I'm from Puerto Rico and we invented this drink back on the 50s... So please try to have your facts right before you go and make something is not from your country..
